Very good for solo travels and longer stays
Traveling solo can be uncomfortable. This location was near a busy intersection and seemed to be in a somewhat industrial area but was safe, convenient, and comfortable. The room had a washer/dryer, range, and full-size fridge—very good for longer stays (but minimal kitchen equipment).

I love staying at the Water Walk Boise, when I travel down to Boise area. The only downside this last trip was the coffee machine in my room looked like it had been dropped. Water ran all out of the machine and on the floor, creating a huge mess. When I notified the front desk, the guy that morning said he would take care of it before he left. When I returned later that evening it was not changed. I ended up waiting a good 20 minutes, because that phone at the front desk where it said if there is no one at the desk to call 0. I did that but no answer for the entire time. When she arrived she said she was doing 'maintenance' which I thought was funny since I was asking for new coffee maker and she told me maintenances didn't work on the weekend. The gal finally said she would bring one up, but in doing that told me I needed to bring the old one down which I felt was a little odd?? It won't change my staying there but just not the normal treatment I'm used to staying there.

Sad that this property has been neglected
We have stayed here a few times before and were always impressed. This time, one in our party woke up in pain because of a broken-down bed and the situation was not addressed. Our room was just beat to heck. The coffeemaker leaked and didn't;'t function properly, many items with which the suites are typically equipped were missing (i.e. no spoons) and no remedy offered by management, so we had to do without. The blinds in our room had been broken so they didn't reach to the bottom of the window. The rug was threadbare in places. Also, since I stayed here last, the road and adjacent business noise has increased considerably and there is no longer a "quiet side" to the property. This property has a unique function in that some units are actually rented as apartments, either furnished or unfurnished.

The room is like a studio apartment, minus an oven, so it is very comfortable size, and has almost everything you need for an extended stay. However, it is also nice for an overnight. The hotel is brand new, in excellent shape, with modern design aesthetics. I dig it. I also like the free coffee machine in the lobby, offering many types of coffee drinks. Nice place, I would definitely consider staying again. It is not really a walkable area for getting out for dinner or coffee, at least it didn't seem like it last night, so I took my car. But otherwise, a very good experience.

The rooms were new and clean. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It had a stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and even a washer/dryer. The hotel is brand new so everything was clean and in working order

I requested a handicapped room when I made the reservation. I am in a wheelchair, but can use a walker for short periods. They gave us a regular room. Toilet to low, no shower chair. Luckily we were able to make it work. I was able to get my walker into the bathroom but my husband had to help me get up from the toilet (not great!) we found a different person that worked here and they were kind enough to get us a shower chair. The hotel itself is wonderful, but when someone needs a handicapped room there is a reason. Not sure what the problem was.

I really like this property. My last stay 2 months ago was perfect. I appreciate the kitchen and all the things you need to make a basic meal. It’s convenient to grocery and other shopping as well. I like that there is someone at the desk for late check in. I arrived at 10:00 pm. This time my room wasn’t quite the same. It was little things like the clean dishes were left in the dishwasher, the disposable salt and pepper set wasn’t a new set, so nothing big but noticeable. Fortunately the staff are super friendly and very helpful. Things were rectified quickly. Overall the space was clean. I will definitely stay again when I visit the Boise area.
