Comfortable Apartment with a Wonderful Host
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Giardino nel Parco. It's just outside the old town, in a quiet, residential area. Silvia was there to meet us and show us around the apartment and answer all our questions. She helped us get a reservation at Trattoria del Ghiottoni, a highly rated restaurant less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We asked her advice about getting to the airport for an early flight and she arranged for the taxi and met us at 6:00 in the morning to make sure everything went well with the taxi pickup. The apartment is in a great location for walking into the old town and enjoying a quiet neighborhood with good, non-touristy restaurants. There's a Despar supermarket a couple blocks from the apartment. We highly recommend Il Giardino and Silvia!

Vi overnattede en enkelt nat på Il Giardino nel Parco R&B. Der er ikke noget fancy over de to lejligheder som ligger i en lille baggård, men her er utroligt hyggeligt og med alle nødvendigheder. Der findes et lille tekøkken i lejligheden i underetagen, mens den store ovenpå (hvor vores venner sov) har et reelt køkken. Udenfor ligger en have hvor man kan spise sin mad i skyggen på terrassen under en blåregn. Servicen var helt i top. Silvia bor længere nede af gaden, og man kunne altid kontakte hende ved behov. Hun var også flink at vise de gode og spændende steder at besøge i Bologna. Man kan gå til indre på ca 10 minutter. En rigtig fin oplevelse.
