Planned a special birthday weekend celebration for my son for his birthday. The Omni Parker House ruined our special weekend. We had to switch rooms three times. Each one was not what was promised. We spent more time arguing for a new room than exploring downtown. There was another woman in the lobby with the same concerns. Neil, a manager, promised a refund through Expedia. The refund was denied when Expedia reached out to management. Stay as far away as possible.

Beautiful hotel
For being one of the oldest hotels in the US it is still beautiful and very inviting. The staff in the hotel and restaurants were fantastic. Service was impeccable.

Wifi didn't work in my room. The room was located in a 'hard-to-reach' area of the hotel with a convoluted floor plan. Unfortunately, the hotel staff were unhelpful and didn't even offer an alternative accommodation.

After a month, the absolute best hotel I've seen. The staff may struggle w English, but the overall experience was priceless. Great hireal, great bar, great wings. The bfast buffet is ridiculously delicious and the staff are more than dedicated. Not much to do in Newton, but I'd you're there, stop at 4 points and bar social. Great place

Noisy and unfair !
I booked for my colleague and I the exact same 2 rooms. When we checked in he was upgraded automatically and not me and he benefited a 25$ voucher for food or restaurant. So I took my room and what a surprise a noisy machine in the corridor to dry the water in the soil and the wall. It was very noisy I asked to have another room. I was finally upgraded and moved for another room. But the other room had exactly the same issue. The same machine in the corridor. Very noisy I can’t slept. My colleague had a room away from this. Why let me in this area as I complain already about the noise ????

It's so cool to be in such an old building that has a decor that honors its vintage while, at the same time, being in a buzzing scene of activity and excitement. Remarkable historic sites a stone's throw away and the memorial to the Irish Famine is breath-taking.
