We really enjoyed our stay at CitizenM Back Bay minus the staff! They were not only short handed but short on their customer service! The hotel is convenient and walking distance lots including shopping, Fenway Park, Freedom Park and North End! The room was small but perfect for what we needed with a beautiful view! We did not have breakfast at the hotel and opted to find local eatery’s near by! We would recommend staying here and hope by putting a review their customer service improves and they are fully staffed, in this case we would stay again!

Enjoy our stay here. Walkable to Fenway (about 10 minutes). Bed was comfy but one side was against the wall so the person closest to the wall had to climb over the other person to get out of the bed if you had to use the restroom in the middle of the night.

Trendy and new hotel. There's self check in which was a great experience.Very small and compact by design - all lights and tech are managed through an iPad that had a bit of a learning curve. Room service came at 9:45 even with us having a Do not disturb sign on the door and never returned. Had to get our own towels delivered to our room.

Wow!! Loved this place!! Excellent location and customer service! Amy was an incredible wealth of information in sharing dining options and things to do around our hotel. The only thing you must be aware is the at the room is really small. Reminded me of hotels in Europe. Other than that…all was perfect!!!!

Very modern and easy check in/out process. Super close to all types of foods and was just a 10-15 min walk to Fenway. Highly recommend and I will definitely be staying here again!!

The hotel situates at a convenient location. Close walking distance to restaurants, tourist attractions are 4 subway stops away. It is quiet even though it is in the city. The only bad thing is the smell. The room has moldy smell. I guess that comes from the pipes in the room. The breakfast buffet is very good, with coffee, bacons, eggs and others. It is not bad for the price $17.25 per day. If you don't need the breakfast for anyday, you can tell them to remove it from that day. I arrived late at night and I decided to take a falafel salad at the bar, well, it turned out the salad was delicious. I didn't expect a bar salad to be that good. It was warm and bright. The check-in and check-out were easy, you can do it yourself at the kiosk. The second floor common area seatings were always crowded though.
