One customer to a room, PLEASE!
The night before I was scheduled to check out, the hotel checked somebody in for my room. Having some stranger walk into my room at 11:30 at night was unsettling at best. The front desk admitted their error, but I did not get a good night sleep. Upper floors may have to contend with top floor lounge and band sounds.

Burned out house diagonally across the street with rubble of homeless people behind canvas of the metal scaffoldin frame. Looks like roof and all upoer windows of house burned out.

Our thermostat wasn’t working in our room. The first day we were there they sent “engineers” to take a look at it and we were told to “not touch it” regardless of the fact that they didn’t fix it. Unsure if it was fixed or not, we waited until the next day to say something again. They told us they would send another engineer to take a look and they did offer us to move rooms, but at that time we didn’t have a long stay left and we didn’t want the inconvenience of having to go and repack. When we returned for our last night, we discovered the thermostat was no different from when we left. It still read 64 in the room when it was more like 75 . Also, Saturday nights in this part of the city are LOUD. There was a sound machine next to the bed and earplugs, but if you’re looking for a place where you can sleep on a Saturday night, this might not be it as the volume did not improve until close to 3am.

I liked the 35.00 credit each day - I think u shud not be forced to spend it all at once - room perfect size - good view - I was 21 floors up and left Sunday the 29 - did not sleep at all due to loud music - vehicle traffic and people screaming - I left at 4 am Today tons of homeless people - mental health issues hovering- not the safest time - I definitely come back but would avoid a Saturday stay - thanks Kim

Super cool with the decor, modern rooms with great city views. Smaller room but perfect for being near nightlife and Chinatown.. walking distance to newbury st shopping - staff was friendly and they gave me $105 credit to spend at the hotel! Great work spaces with street views

It was a concrete box. No closet—only wall pegs to hang things. No drawers to store things so I had to stack my things on a folding table (I had to set it up) or on the floor.

Small room, loud on the weekend, great location
The room was small, very clean, the bathroom was nice and had good water pressure. Be aware though, if you're staying here in a weekend expect loud nights. The Moxy is located in between a bunch of nightclubs. The noise on my Saturday night stay went until about 3am. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but be aware the reality of the neighborhood in which you are staying. And speaking of: location was great for what I needed, easy walks to the start of Freedom Trail, Fenway is a 40 or so minute walk, but plenty to look at on the way over. Quick trip from and to Boston Logan as well.

The Moxy was great for our last minute Boston trip. Walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Carlos who checked us in for our stay was FANTASTIC even helping to accomidate us checking on early due to our early fleight. Will stay again when we return to Boston.

Good stay
My room was quiet, I did not hear the outside noise. However I had to walk several blocks with my suitcase to park in the garage for the hotel. The hotel was modern and good looking inside.

The stay was okay but the rooms were very small and I didn’t like all the added fees that I’ve dealt with because I put my room in affirm because I couldn’t afford all of it and then there were all these destination fees when I got there but overall it was a cool hotel just wasn’t for me

Property was extremely noisy although a strike was going on as well as street noise. Beds are way too small and there is no other choice of beds. Property decor is very dark. Food is minimal and self served and served in cardboard boxes. Tables in common area were not cleaned. I would not recommend this hotel
