Perfect for a quick night’s sleep
Perfect place to lay your head. We were only there to sleep. Checked in at about 10:30pm and were out by 9:30am. Beds were a little hard, which I don’t mind, but a couple friends had a hard time sleeping.

This red roof is super old. You can smell the mold as soon as you walk into the lobby. The rooms smell, dirty and moldy. Went to stay there close enough to Salem spent the day in Salem and had fun and then came back to the hotel slept there and got up super early to leave just cause it was such a gross place to be. Would’ve changed hotels if I wasn’t gonna get charged. No lobby coffee only coffee in your rooms would never stay there again.

This is the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We reported that the smoke alarm was chirping and nothing was done. So we got no sleep listening to this thing chirp all night. Extremely over priced for the stay. They also had the nerve to put a hold of $150 on my credit card for damage. Never again!

The worst bed I have ever tried to sleep in in my life. Every inch of my body was in pain all night and into the next day. One outlet in the entire room worked. The shower did not drain.

I needed a price point hotel near an event I was going to on the North Shore, and there are none. Only high end B&B $$. The price at this Red Roof was good, and after my stay there, I would say a good value. Nothing fancy, but staff were very nice and helpful (Ricky at the front desk for one). Also, the Cantina next door is surprisingly good.

I was fine but my sister said her bed was uncomfortable. Room was clean. One elevator was out of service and the other should have been. More than 2 people on it and it was hold your breath and pray you make it your floor

The staff was not very friendly or welcoming. The entry door to our room felt heavy, Almost prison like. . Walked on floor with bare feet. Took a shower later and the bottoms of my feet left dirty prints in bathtub. The beds were so hard. It was not what I expected.
