We missed our connection because of security delays. Therefore we did not make it to the hotel until 6 am the next morning. I tried to call the hotel the night before but no one answered the phone, this was around 11pm. Therefore they charged us the full price without us staying there. They also would not let us stay there for a few hours that next morning unless we paid again. I will never stay in this hotel again.

We arrived early knowing our room would not be ready so we could get a head start on seeing Boston. She informed us that we would have an upgrade on our room and our luggage would be secure until we got back. When we returned after a long enjoyable day we were surprised to see that our luggage was still out in the open. When we went to our room there was luggage and personal items from a guest. How embarrassing that could have been if they were there. We quickly went back to the front desk to inform them of this and was told we checked in earlier. We assured her it was not us even though we were an “elderly couple” they gave the room to. ( her words) Then after checking the room and confirming that someone else was in it she still took forever to find us another room. I’m not even sure we received the room upgrade we paid for. I will say the room was attractive and clean and we had a great time in a fun city. We just will not stay at The Boxer again.

The Boxer has a convenient and walkable location to all the sights of Boston. Our room was spartan and small, but had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable.
