A listed property however needs external restorat
The building is a listed property. Few works needed on the outside to bring out the beauty. Restoration to be precise. Internal aesthetics is OK however the rugs or carpets might need changing. Overall it's still a beauty to behold and in a prime central location.

Could be better!
This is a lovely Hotel, with friendly staff and it is good value. However, my room and a number of my colleagues rooms were too warm to sleep comfortably in. I did raise the matter at the Reception desk and was told that it would be fixed but nothing was done. This is such a shame as it marred my stay as I hardly slept over the 2 night stay.

Clean and comfy for a stop over
Nice room clean but very hot. Toilet seat dint fit the loo and tap in the sink was a poor design as it did not full go over the sink so water went everywhere. Bed very bouncy and pillows a bit flat could do with extra. Pleanty of plugs and lights

Our room was spacious and comfortable, although the WiFi signal was very weak and the on demand tv function was intermittent at best - frustrating. The guy on the desk couldn’t help or suggest anything. Breakfast was rudimentary but acceptable wnough
