The rooms we stayed in were dirty - dusty furniture and desk and stains in the bathroom on sink and shower curtain. Some stains on the bedding also. We would not stay here again.

Well situated hotel but not slick service

Room was ok, bed very comfortable. Two minor issues Firstly the room I was allocated would not open with my keycard. I left my various bags there and went down to reception where he took my card without saying anything then gave me another room that had ‘nobody in’. No apology for Inconvenience At breakfast it wasn’t included and I waited at welcome desk where there was nobody (no notice saying to wait here etc) so I sat down and later a staff member came over and confirmed I didn’t have breakfast included. I went to pay before I left but nobody around. Paid at reception when I checked out but all very faffy

Panto Break

Excellent two night stay as usual for our annual panto break. Room changed as wasn't as requested no problem i.e. wanted a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath. Excellent location, will be back again soon.

It's a lovely hotel and lovely staff very clean and very good value money it's my second stay it's also in a great location for city centre plus really nice food but not the cheapest

Exceedingly disappointing stay. Completely ruined my perception of the chain hotel. Lack of towels, noise, dirt are completely unacceptable for a supposed 4* hotel. In all honesty, don't expect your stay to exceed that of a Travel lodge.
