It is easy to go from one place to the other. Accessible to almost everything. And most of all, close to the pier

A Real Rip Off

Bad hotel avoid. Arrived at hotel to find no parking spaces apart from a Blue Badge space. Parked in it as l have a badge & was promptly told it was £18at reception or if l didnt want to pay l could try & find kerbside parking....Really on a bank holiday in Brighton !!!!!! I had to swallow the fee Went to room on 4th fl via a rickety lift only to find our sea view room was very squatty & so hot you could grow tomatoes. The window was suicide proof so did not open far. Therefore we could not ventilate the room & there was no a/c. We also found out that the hotel is dog friendly as we had a yelping pooch next door that did not like being left on its own. The bed was comfortable so bearing in mind the temperature we slept ok Breakfast was very basic & consisted of juice & cereal then the full breakfast. If you had fruit that counted as your main course. This is truely a bad tired hotel that needs a stick shaking at it. Generally the staff were ok & polite

The Brigjton hotel is a staple feature of the seaside town's hospitality industry. Recently refurbished he staff are excellent, and there is a warm, homely feeling about the place. The bar is well stocked and breakfast though stripped back in recent years is good. The rooms are typical of brighton hotels, old, probably in need of greater attention, but certain side sea view to executive rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The honeymoon suite is fun with a four poster bed and front/side aspect's letting in a lot of light. Parking is slim but similarly priced to other locks hotels (many of which cannot offer any parking). Overall, good place to stay, however it's neither cheapest nor the most luxurious, but is probably the most welcoming and friendly.

Good stop over. Needs refurbishing very worn.

Have stayed there of and on for many years an intimate hotel sad to see it was no longer a Best Weston but apart from that I would stay again.

Aweful Basement Room

I was on business for this trip. I was given a basement room with no hearing and blocked out windows. I was not offered any other room the first night and the second night I was given a larger room but still in basement. I asked for heaters te first night and all they had was a duvet as they had ran out of mobile heaters. (Hint to out te heating on? Yes but it wasn't put on.) I was glad I brought my own hairdryer so I had to use that to heat my room the first night. They put heating on for the second night. I complained that the room was unacceptable and I was very disappointed as I had booked at least 7weeks in advance but this is all they had to offer. Room was dirty with filthy carpet. Breeze coming in windows as they were old fashioned and not double glazing. The second morning the alarm went off about 9am several times due to toaster burning toast down stairs. I won't ever come back here again. This hotel is not a 3 star and it's false advertising. It is equivalent to a 2 star and that's being very generous.
