A beautiful old property in a beautiful town in the Cotswolds. This is a great dog friendly hotel where dogs are welcome throughout. I would definitely stay here again.

It is a great hotel - we have stayed before and we had a great time. Only disappointment was cosy room was very very small - almost too cosy.

Traditional hotel in lovely Cotswold village.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Personally, I thought the evening menu could be improved and the portions were quite small. I also did not enjoy their choice of coffee bean.
Location: Lots to do nearby. The high street has lots of choice of shops and eateries. Very quaint traditional village. Lots of places to visit nearby.
Old hotel but has modern facilities for its guests. Great atmosphere, lovely log fires. I was surprised that dogs were allowed but any I saw were very well behaved.

Great Sunday lunch & location, but hotel is looking tired.

Great location, with free parking, in the centre of the marvellous Cotswold town of Broadway and one of the best Sunday lunches we have had for a long time - as good as home cooking. However, breakfast was not up to the same standard: dry scrambled egg and indifferent coffee. Away from front of house, the hotel is showing the need for some loving attention - frayed stair carpet and visible cracks in our bathroom of our room. The receptionist at our midday arrival could not have been more helpful, but the same high standard did not apply in the evening. The lighting in our bedroom can best be described as dim reading after dark in the easy chairs was not really possible. At 7.30 pm I asked at reception if a standard lamp or table lamp could be provided. The request was acknowledged, but thereafter seemingly ignored and I did not get any feedback. After an hour, the moment for reading had passed. I know that things can get overlooked - but ignoring a reasonable request does not enhance the impression of the visit. On balance an enjoyable visit - but not sure we will rush back.

Lovely hotel

The location and the hotel building are perfect. From the courtyard outside to the cosy rooms inside with fireplaces you feel that you are in a traditional old English great home. Our bedroom was in the old part and had beams and lots of character. Would definitely like to stay there again

Brilliant stay and great staff

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a weekend away in the Cotswolds. It is idilic and has everything you need for a relaxing break in a historic and beautiful building. After an issue with the order by the booker the staff were extremely helpful in accommodating us and resolving the problem with the upmost professionalism.

very poor room

so small that we didn't even get a dressing table ,,, just a chair in front of a mirror .... the room was 'tired' and ever so small with a tiny bed overlooking the most horrible 70's extension to the hotel you could imagine !
