This hotel was no where near what it showed on hotels.com. Our family walked in to the room and immediately walked out because of how nasty it was. Bed was covered in stains, black feet marks on the walls, bathroom remodeled in 1970’s and not clean. Lobby even smelled. Only pleasant part was the staff was nice. Went across the street to stay at a different hotel for 50$ cheaper and it was clean! Staff also friendly.

I've stayed here a few times. I guess you get what you pay for. It smelled like dirt or something dirty the last time I stayed there. It was very outdated. The bathroom needed work. But the bed was comfortable in the service was great

Good value & location in a worn room
Location is convenient. Price is great. Quiet at night, and darkens well. Good wifi. Plenty of hot water. The room is spacious and clean, but needs some love. It has new floors and windows, but badly needs patching, painting, new baseboards, new door, and a new medicine shelf over the sink. Mattress was decent, room well lit - especially with new LED overhead lights. Furniture was beat up.

No hot water. We stayed in Brookings because we had a wedding to attend. When I told the front desk there was no hot water there response was "yeah room 53?" And I said yes. They said just let the water run eventually it gets hot. I ran the water 25 minutes and it never got hot. When I checked out I told them about it and asked for a partial refund or something since myself and my children were unable to bath during our stay and she straight up told me no. Will never be back

There was mold in the shower and the floor wasn't that clean. It looked like it was mopped, but not very well. There also was not a table and chair at least to put some of your things on.
