Lift was broken and had to lug our luggage up 4 flights up a medieval staircase. Staff could care less. Room was looking at the Church bell tower - which was nice - except when it goes off all day. Could barely stand up in the room near the bed because the ceiling slanted. Parking was 'full' - had to park over a half mile away - again - very unhelpful staff. Would never stay here again.

Had a lovely twin room in the eaves, with a great view towards the main square. Good to have small bath and power shower too. But what made our visit a joy was the breakfast team who shopped and prepared a separate breakfast of gluten-free bread, cereal, meat, fruit and salad for my coeliac daughter. There were eggs, whole fruit and cheese that she could have had too. She ate well each morning and she didn't feel left out. I ate well from the buffet, relaxed that she was so happy! I recommend that if one of your party is coeliac then let the hotel know, and if possible, speak to the breakfast team in advance so that they can stock-up and look out for you.

The property is well situated to all attractions. The room was small, dimly lit, but efficient and clean. The walls, doors, elevators are quite banged up.

Right in the heart of Bruges; this was nice for access to attractions, but the noise was constant outside our window. Every vehicle that drove by sounded like a racecar revving its engine. It lasted late and started early. It was hot enough that we removed the duvet cover to use as a sheet and found that the duvet had a large, prominent stain on it. (Luckily we didn't need the duvet) Some front desk staff were nice, others had attitude. With no coffeemaker in the room but not wanting a full breakfast, we asked front desk staff if we could have just coffee in the dining room next morning (rather than use the $5.00 Starbucks machine in the lobby that makes horrible coffee); they said that would be fine. Next morning, the dining room maitre d' said absolutely not, it was the coffee machine or nothing. In all, not worth the stay and definitely not worth the price. Find somewhere cheaper and quieter near the old town and commute 10 minutes every morning to Magicland.

Hotel is run down and needs a face lift including elevators and halls. No coffee in rooms, only pay as go in lobby. We received a ragged see through towel. No hand soap. We were very disappointed.

I do not recommend this hotel. It's overpriced for what you get. The only good thing about it is its magnificent location. The building is run down, the elevator mechanism is so old and makes such constant loud noise that it keeps you up all night. The breakfast is ok,if you stay one day, but we were there for 3 days and with no variety and poor selection prepaid breakfast turned into torture. Didn't like this place at all it, keeps you up all night.
