The hotel was good ,especially for families
Because of the hurricane our original hotel had no power and was cancelled. After an almost 2 hr. phone call with hotels.com at our request ,they switched us to this one.Hotels.com tried to charge me more than double per room than _ooking.com . When I said no, give me my money back. They gave each room to me for the money I had paid already for the Super 8. Why did they put me on hold and pass me off to another person so many times? How many people gave up and just booked a new room and lost their original money? I'm sure we weren't the only ones affected by the hurricane. Instead of jumping in and helping,Hotels.com made it tedious and difficult and tried to price gouge. Only because I persisted did they do the right thing in the end.

I paid for the room through expedia and was charged extra when i arrived without consent or explanation, bad business on expedia and hotel staff. The place doesn't look anything like the picture ALOT of transients in the area

We booked with this hotel 3 weeks before our stay, but recieved a text the day of our arrival that they were overbooked and needed to cancel the room. I called and they were willing to put us in a neighboring hotel they owned. There is a closed down Dennys between this hotel and the other one they owned that was occupied by homeless people. The property itself had a section right next to the office that could only be described as a salvage yard from hoarders. The room itself was not great and we didn't shower because the bathroom grossed us out. We stay at some cheap motels throughout the country and this was just a step below anything. We had our moving truck with us and we didn't feel comfortable.

I made my reservation a week in advance. I checked in online a day ahead and on the day of they text me to say they were overbooked and Expedia had not confirmed my reservation. So, my 7 year old and I had to transfer to a Travelodge that was very undesirable, old and smelly. Not cool. I never even got to see the room or the staff, therefore the two stars.

Felt like I was staying with the locals down on their luck. Homeless shelter? Key never worked, had to have it reset. Baseboards so dirty. AC was taken apart, working, but pieces on the floor when I entered. Run down. Not a pleasant place to stay. It was gross.
