3 days post river cruise in Budapest
Stayed here for 3 nights post rivet cruise - great location close to Metro, Bus and Trams - great dining options within minutes walk - hop on / hop off bus route minutes away - most front desk staff a bit indifferent to enquiries and requests for help - one male stood out and was really good - advertised Bell hop and Porter is mythical - does not exist - included breakfast was adequate without being fantastic - we stayed in a superior double which has obviously been recently renovated and was really nice - plenty of storage and bathroom excellent - not all rooms are to this standard as was our friend’s room across the hallway. Room was quiet (114) and A/C worked well

Don’t stay here!
Do not stay here! I arrived at the hotel at 11pm. The weather was on the humid side. When I entered my room it felt like an oven. It must have been 85 degrees in there. I went back to the front desk and asked about air conditioning. The clerk told me they do not run the AC at this time of year. I replied that my room was extremely warm, and that they advertise their AC on hotels.com. This is so wrong. The whole building has no ventilation. Furthermore, the flimsy shower door looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. There is NO wastebasket in the room! How weird is that? Lastly, they put a small round table and a chair in the room, so it’s hard to move around. This is a SINGLE room with a spacious desk and a chair already. Get rid of the table and chair! You’ve been warned; don’t book this hotel.
