Terrible hotel , the manager is very mean,rude , we got in the hotel the elevator was broke, he didn’t help me and my friend with the suitcases,the room was very dirty and small,worst hotel ever ! Everything is very dirty and old there. Stay away from this hotel if you don’t want ruin your trip .

First impression, was bit disappointing as the way to reception and hallways were bit shabby and require some TLC- but boy, the rooms on the 4th floor, view from balcony and location were fantastic - it is in the same building as Lidle just in case- In summary this is a beautiful hotel that is in a great location for walking to restaurants and other attractions. Centrally located - easy walk to key tourist areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, would highly recommend it

Okay, this place. Yes, the building is reeaaaalllllyyy cool. Gorgeous in fact. Our room had the best balcony with a dreamlike view. The sleeping room itself was cozy and very clean. The front desk lady that was there the night we arrived was really nice. Those are the good things. For myself, the bad things would have outweighed any good and therefore I would definitely have not stayed here. Although the building is very cool, it is not comfortable to enter and exit. It feels like a hostel set up rather than a hotel. Compared to other mid-range priced hotels in Budapest, it was not priced any lower. The biggest problem for me was the bathroom. It smelled really really bad. I understand it is a very old building and yes, they’re doing renovations, etc. etc. which is fine but had I known the bathroom smelled the way it did because it’s an old building and there’s sewage running through the walls, I would not have stayed there. Not shaming the company for the state of things, I just personally would not have stayed there. We had to keep the door shut the entire time because of the smell. Also strange that the water in the pitcher with two drinking glasses had a sign that said it was fine to drink the tapwater. We couldn’t imagine anything more unfine. And with all of that said I still isn’t going to say anything about the less than transparent advertising, and ghettoey conditions but the very last day we were there the front desk guy was SO RUDE and could not be bothered

This unique boutique hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Budapest. We had a balcony room overlooking the Main Street and close to many restaurants along the pedestrian side streets, the river and near a Hop on Hop Off bus stop. The hotel is located on the top floor with the main floors looking very tired and in need of paint and repair. However, the 4th floor hotel area was clean and we were pleasantly surprised when arrived in our room. The room was well outfitted with a safe, mini fridge, personal heat/air conditioner and modern bathroom. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We arrived early and had a locked area to store luggage. We would stay here again.

The staff was amazing. We had several personal issues that arose during the time we were there and they helped us through each of them. They went way out of their way. We had a room with a small balcony which was delightful and the view was wonderful. However, the bed left quite a bit to be desired. The sheets did not fit the bed and the comforter was too small as well. If they could just correct that, it would be five star all around.

Nice place in convenient location

The building and it's history was outstanding, as well as the view and location. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the free mini bottle of champagne was greatly appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel
My husband and I stayed for one night in July, and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a stunning old building, and we paid a little extra for a lovely balcony looking out on picturesque buildings around Astoria, which was perfect for the warm weather in the evening! There was also air conditioning. I couldn't fault our stay, and we would happily book again in future.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay
It was a wonderful stay. I have stayed in some expensive hotels during my trip. But after three weeks in Europe, it started to add up. So I picked this hotel as its was much more affordable. I was surprised with the amount of comfort I had. I enjoyed my stay here more than I did in some costly hotels. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. I arrived in the room with a bottle of champagne waiting for me. They had some good TV channels. There was always a basket with fresh apples in the lobby for the guests. The location is great!
