The hotel is very close to Liszt Ferenc Intl Airport, walking distance about 10 minutes to Terminal 2A. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable! Rooms were clean and comfy, a true pleasure to spend leisure time in them! My room was suitable for disabled persons and had a cord besides the toilet, which ones pulled triggered an distress alarm. I pulled it because i mistook it for a ventilator starter LoL. Transportation to the city is easy and costs 2’200 HUF/ 5 EUR one way and the same the way back. The bus departs from Terminal 2A Transportation from the city back to the airport is a bit trickier, but also easy once done. The bus has two stops: Kálvin Tér and Déak Tér (Terminal stop) and the ride takes about 30 to 40 minutes one way. You can reach all the major tourist attractions from the two stops. You can pay for your ticket easily at cc terminals inside the bus! All in all, Ibis Airport is a great place to stay if you want to stay close to the airport but also Budapest.

Low cost for high price in a captive environment
It’s one of those increasingly popular low cost chains offering high price accommodations in a captive environment. 252 euros for the most basic room with plastic made mass produced furniture and standardized amenities. And they try and make you believe that it’s trendy and fashion. It’s only worthy if you need to walk to the terminal in the early morning hours, as this is the only hotel offering that great advantage in the whole airport.

Even though breakfast was included the fee, my flight was too early and therefore breakfast was not yet available. Consider having a cheaper option for those not having breakfast, or a take away/packed breakfast.

This is a great hotel when flying out of Budapest. The staff are lovely and it has a funky ambiance . Good breakfast options. However, access to the front door/lobby is not well marked or signposted while the construction is underway.

Walking distance from Terminal 2 of Budapest airport, perfect for specific needs. The only issue was the terrible breakfast. Coffee in particular is terrible.

Stayed for one night before my flight, room was clean, nice breakfast. Shower could have had a door/curtain as the water is getting out of the shower corner easily and splashes on the bathroom door, room was very dark, the only light was from lamps, there was no ceiling light which is a bit weird.
