Unable to Lock Room Door
As I went to leave the room on 8/15, my room door wouldn't lock. I tried to call down for help a couple times & there was no answer, so I had to leave the room unattended to get help. The desk attendant seemed to be the only 1 on site. She tried texting for help w/o success. Finally I asked for a new room because I had to be somewhere. She got that and brought me a cart, but I was left to move mine & my husband's belongings by myself. At 4'11" & on the older side, this was exhausting for me. I never really received an apology or acknowledgement.

Room was comfortable, and everything was basically good. The room had been cleaned spottily -- there was clothing left in the closet, a little debris on the bathroom floor, and a somewhat gross mess in the coffee maker, so several small things that had been overlooked. I may have just been unlucky. The bed was fine, and I would consider staying here again.

La Quinta is a fraud. The police says they accept cats and dogs only. But they didn’t allowed me to check-in because I was bring my cat with me. And they didn’t refund my money. Horrible customer service. The manager refused to talk to me. Stay away from LA QUINTA. I hope Expedia give me my refund. If not you guys will see more reviews about Expedia customer service.

The bathroom was a disaster! The tub leaked, the wallpaper was peeling off, the baseboards were loose. The price was way too much for what we got. The people at the front desk when we checked in were too busy talking to each other to notice us and when they did see us they were surly

The staff was very friendly, service was great. Nice quiet location. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. There were a few things that needed repair but only minor things. We did not try the breakfast due to prior engagements. I would recommend this property.

Couch in room had holes and cushion collapsed. Old holy couch in hall. Curtains in hall falling off. No pictures in room but hooks still in wall. Assistant manager was no help getting refund for final 2 days of stay booked through Expedia when we had to leave early. Neither hotel or Expedia could do anything. Both blamed the other. Seems like a scam to me. Will never use either again.
