Our stay was for a week. Two days before we were scheduled to check out all hell broke loose. Someone had overflowed a toilet and the whole place stunk of sewage. The pipes had to be pumped out. Lots of noise, and used condoms pumped out on the grass, which no one cleaned up. Then they decided that they needed to change all of the bed frames. I work remotely so I was working in my room when they knocked on the door and asked us to leave. I explained that I was working and they asked if I could take a break. So rude! I ended up taking my dogs out a few minutes later, waiting for them to change the bed frame so I could get back to work. The assistant manager, a 60 something year-old man with a serious back problem was the one doing all the work, while the staff stood in the hallway on their phones. Later that day, I was walking from the lobby to my room and I had to climb over bed frames and dirty linens to get to my door. Right in front of my door , laid a soiled bedsheet. I was so mad that I yelled at the people who were down the hall working in another room for them to get the shi**y sheet out of my doorway. I had to pay for my dogs to stay at this hotel. Humans created this disgusting mess! The asst manager told me he would give me a small refund but I haven’t seen it yet. I’ll never go there again! Oh! And let’s not forget the guy that checked in with a hooker! I thought La Quinta was a family hotel.

The staff was good, but room 117 really needs to be sound proofed. I could absolutely hear every time housekeeping had a conversation, rolled the carts, started laundry, all of it. All night and day. It was difficult to sleep with how loud it was.
