Service: The staff were excellentâattentive and professional throughout our visit. However, we emailed the hotel with some queries when we made the booking, but our message was overlooked and never replied to. When we mentioned it at check-in, the front desk had no recollection of our email, which was slightly frustrating and not what we expected from a high-end establishment.
Facilities: The spa facilities were impressive and contributed to a relaxing stay. That said, thereâs room for improvement. Cleanliness could be betterâthere was a noticeable smell in some areas, reminiscent of body odour and feet, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the availability of deck chairs and seating was limited, which made it difficult to find a spot during busy periods.
Room: We opted for an executive room, but it didnât feel like much of an upgrade. The linens, towels, and bathrobes all had an odd smell, and the reusable slippers didnât appear clean. Another significant drawback was the limited hot water supplyâduring peak times, the shower and bath were only lukewarm, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.
