This hotel is very run-down and needs maintenance
Although the Manager was helping and nice, the hotel was a shambles and nothing like the pictures shown in the Wotif photos. This Hotel is very old and the locals suggested that it needs knocking down completely and starting anew. It seems the public needs a Government Authority made to regulate this industry, because this is not what it seemed in your advertising and fell well short on what we expected for our money's worth. I will be lobbying Government for an Authority to be made to regulate this industry, because of such shortfalls. We want tourists to come back and share good stories about the places they visit in Queensland and Australia, not the opposite!

Disappointing
I expected more. When we got to the room there were no towels, soap, hair care products and no milk. The coffee and tea packets were on the table but were never replenished. The towels were given after we asked but nothing else. The rooms are not made up or the room cleaned in the four days we were there. The shower had a crack in the glass and the wall had lost paint where it looked like furniture had been dragged along it. Not worth the money.

We had a great welcome the Lady manager was very kind and helpful and gave us extra covers for the beds. We had to change the chairs as the others we're not suitable for two disabled people. The apartment is not suitable for disabled people, especially the shower they could not get into it. The apartment smelt and was not very clean, and the China leaves a lot to be desired. Overall we did enjoy our stay, but we won't go back.

Photos - completely deceptive pool is a frog pond
We booked 3 rooms and 2 of the rooms didnt stay and went elsewhere on check in. Absolutely disgusting. Pool was half empty and green. Whole hotel was dirty and totally unappealing. Wouldnt recommend to anyone

Old basic motel close to most things
We enjoyed our stay as we used the motel as a place to sleep and have breakfast. It was clean but badly in need of a paint job, the powerful hot shower was great. A single room apartment with separate kitchen/lounge area, i think we got what we paid for and expected, only would use when discounted. It is on main road so a little bit noisy though the 2 bedroom apartments are closer to the main road. Very close to airport and other amenities. The lady at the front desk was helpful with booking skyrail etc.
