The Owner Ghosted Us - Property Wasn't Available
After we paid for the rental, we desperately tried to get in touch with the owner, without success. Panicked about our upcoming trip to Cairo without confirmed accommodations, we called VRBO almost every day and they too could not get in touch with owner.The owner caused us a tremendous level of stress and VRBO would do nothing until we were literally stranded without a place to stay in a foreign country during the holidays. We had to book two hotel rooms just a few hours before we boarded the plane. Not what we wanted. This property should not be listed on VRBO's website. Please spare other families from this horrid experience.
Stayed 5 nights in Dec 2024
