Chose this Holiday Inn as it was near le Shuttle. It said on the website you had to check in before 10pm but this was not correct. I could not get through either on the phone or by message to verify this. The room had been cleaned but desperately in need of refurbishment. It was also on 2 floors which was really strange. Would not choose this option again.

The room was large, clean and well appointed. However, there was a cupboard next to the room that seemed to house some sort of machinery, meaning that we were woken up each time the machinery was in use. The sound shook the room and went off about 8 times through the night.

Huge noise issue on upper floors
Hotel is in a good location, but it has a huge issue. Rooms in the top floor suffer from a persistent loud humming, banging and vibration from the air conditioning system on the roof… all night! We stayed either end of our holiday and in both rooms we had the same problem. The old air conditioning system clearly needs replacing, if you are allocated rooms 506 or 507 ask to be moved immediately!

Very good service. Had a slight issue on check in as advised room hadn’t been paid for, paid so not to cause a fuss. Went to room checked emails for receipt and the gentleman on reception apologised and refunded immediately. He dealt with the problem efficiently, he was polite and very helpful. The hotel was perfect for our needs and we will definitely use it again in the near future.

The area aroundd the hotel had a lot of dining options in walking distance. The room was big and everything was really big. The only problem was the A/C controller was broken so even though we turned it on, it was working very well.
