Always a good pick for Downtown Calgary
As usual, a great stay at Hotel Arts. Conveniently located downtown and a 10-min walk to StephenAve, the restaurants, the Telus Convention Center and the tower. The pool is not really meant for swimming so don't pick the hotel for this reason (or to bring kids). It's however a great place to hang out with the fireplaces and the beautiful design. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are clean. The only annoying thing is that they charge $3 per water bottle in the room. I come here 3x per year and average price is often around $300. To charge $3 for water bottle feels cheap when the bottle is likely $0.50 and everything else in the hotel is a high-end experience. Add $5 to your room prices and make the bottles free. It's quite an annoyance for business people on the go.

Awesome stay at Hotel Arts. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional right from arrival and the valet for my car to the efficient check in process. The room was spacious and so comfortable. I appreciated the check backs from the front desk to ensure everything was in order.

Great experience and great staff. Only issue was the pool was closed Saturday for a wedding and we had planned to spend the day by the pool, communication would have been nice since this is why we booked. But otherwise great experience !
