Overall not bad but downsides were the bed and sheets not being that great. Bed was a bit hard and the sheets were thin and rough. There was also a funky sewage odor coming from the bathroom. I think from the shower drain. It was unpleasant to walk into but since places were booked we decided to stick it out and open windows to let the smell out.

The front desk person,Marc, was very thorough and thankfully was able to help us with dead room phone and tv in room before he left for the night. The pla e is charming, old, but comfy. Very different having staff leave property from 1000pm til 8am. Will see how it goes.

Area was good since it's in downtown Camarillo. Issue was with the room size. Get the biggest room they have. Any other room is a closet with an even smaller bathroom.
