Wow what a hotel! Perfectly located for all that Cambridge has to offer as well as the most comfy bed, clean room, well equipped bathroom with powerful shower and lovely bath wash etc, friendly staff and the most beautiful decor that I’ve seen in an English hotel! And to top it off there was a lovely fireplace in the hotel bar that we could have a nice drink in front of and warm up! Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. And it was even reasonably priced! Loved it!

Rather average

Was given the wrong type of room initially so had to ask for it to be changed to the correct type. All down very politely. We were meeting several other couples who were also staying at the hotel. We all agreed that the hotel is rather average. OK for a couple of days, but no longer. The best thing about it is the location. Wardrobe in the room is hopelessly small and there is very little space in the room for any clothes storage. Housekeeping was again average. No TV remote and tea bags, etc. not fully replenished. All sorted after a call, if the phone is actually answered. Cannot call housekeeping direct, have to go through reception so obviously there are times that they are very busy with registrations and/or check-outs so can’t answer the phone! Quite expensive, but that is Cambridge for you. Would I stay there again? Quite likely to stay elsewhere next time.
