Wonderful property, fabulous setting/ grounds. Enjoyed breakfast very much, receptionist who bokked us in on arrival very helpful and professional. More of a hostel than hotel but if aware non the worse for it.

Lovely setting and the breakfast was fantastic as usual. This was the second time we stayed at the Hall. We stayed for 2 nights this time. Unfortunately house keeping did not refresh the room during our stay and the coffee facilities were not restocked which we thought was unusual.

Staff was nice and welcoming. The property looks really nice outside but the rooms are dated. I and my friend stayed in single rooms. My room was dusty and the bed did not look freshly made when I arrived, while my friend told me that her toilet was not properly cleaned with visible skid marks. The area is far from public transport and could take around an hour from Cambridge station if taking the bus.

The property looked nice from outside, but once we went inside it was very disappointing from the entrance onwards. It was badly maintained through out. The only reasonable thing we found was the bed linen. Mattress was poor quality, as you enter the room it had a bad smell. The carpet looked ancient. The bathroom floor was coming out, shower was useless, the sealant on the shower cubicle was moldy in black, the towel rack was electric, but didn't wok.
