Ok for an overnight
The woman at the front desk was excellent. Friendly, customer focused. Biggest issue is the the motel part of the property needs to be freshened up. The room needed to be aired out a bit better because the musty smell that you get with properties by the sea. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of towels, soaps, etc.

My wife and I loved the cottage that we rented. Very quiet and great views. They do have outdoor floodlights on each cottage so it could be a little bright at night if we didn't pull the curtains (no nightlight needed? 😉 ) When we went there the beach appeared to have been swept clear of the sand and was primarily rocks but I imagine it is lovely when the sand returns.

Oceanfront facility is truly a beautiful location. The staff is very friendly and helpful when suggesting dining options. From the dog friendly beach to the free firewood provided at the beachfront pit we had everything we needed. Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and Arcadia national park. This is one we are already planning to stay at next year.

We were travelling between Camden and Bar Harbor, Maine. Excellent place to stay, even has some cottages where some return annually. My pet enjoyed the large deck facing the ocean, and so did I.

Nice little Coastal Villas
The room was clean but dated like most of the hotels in a coastal town... The staff was very nice. My husband liked the coastal old fashioned decor, not so much for my taste, but the price was good for our budget. They did have a beautiful flower garden that was great for photos. It was east to find right off the main highway. We had breakfast at Bell the Cat, which the hotel recommended and it was excellent. Young's lobster pound is down the street and the lobster is excellent there. It also had a beach that was rocky but some families were in the water. We would probably stay there again in one of the little cottages.

My stay at colonial Gables oceanfront village was very pleasurable and relaxing. The grounds were well kept, and the staff was very polite and nice. It was also peaceful and quiet for atmosphere. I will definitely be vacationing there again.

Our cottage was absolutely perfect. Clean, beautiful, full kitchen, beds were comfortable, bathroom was big, with washer/dryer. Deck was peaceful ~ living room/TV was great for a family movie, which we had. The living room was on opposite side of bedrooms too ~ no noise!

Excellent location. Very friendly staff who left you to enjoy the serene setting of the ocean. Excellent beach for tide pool gazing and beachcombing for shells/rocks. Playset, shuffleboard and fire pit nice additions with great view of beach.Cottages clean with kitchen supplies included. AC cool with WiFi and cable TV. Enjoyed the chairs on the ocean facing porch. Front door to cottage was weather with some difficulty in closing securely but otherwise quaint cottage.
