This was perfect for what we needed, a clean room and bed for the night for a quick stopover and a nice hot shower. Simple, no fuss, barely interacted with staff as we arrived after hours and they were very organised and efficient. Will definitely return when in town.

Shower and loo like a portaloo. Only two powerpoints in room. Both over the sink, which is next to bed, not in bathroom. Nasty fluorescent lighting. Overpowering smell of air freshener. Won’t be staying again.

The shower and toilet was a raised plastic cubicle placed in one corner of the room no more than 12 from the bed. On the other side of the bed was the sink. I have stayed in a lot of motels, some being old buildings but very clean and at least has the facility of an ensuite type shower and toilet. No shower curtain was on the shower, hence the whole toilet floor which was a small triangle would be wet even if you turned the shower head facing the opposite wall and I am only 65 kgs. A person a little larger would not have been able to turn around much less wash in the shower. I was also charged $5 per night for parking. Do not recommend this motel to anybody whatsoever.

we booked to enable us to park our car at the airport to enable us to catch a very early overnight train to Brisbane and have a car available when we flew home. We only wanted a shower and a bed for the night. Yes the room was small but clean and adequate. The bed was comfortable and the shower fine. We paid peanuts for the room and were happy with it. Just a note to the bleaters who have written complaining about the room, shower size etc. Pay five times more in Canberra for a hotel which has bigger rooms etc. the explanation is in the name of the hotel. The Ibis Budget Hotel!!!!!
