We loved The service at the restaurants, service was excellet the food was great. Roman the bartender made the Best cocktail driks and was super friendly and professional. We didnt like The check in process,it took about 3 hrs. For a weekend get away every minute counts. There was a coach roach in our room. The matress was not confortable it was too hard. The attitude of front desk personnel at the SPA was unprofessional.

Rooms are very nice and spacious. Clean all around. Food is okay but nothing extraordinary. Nice selection of drinks, although some are only available at certain bars / restaurants. Upon on our arrival, we were offered a tour around property in order to see the benefits of the Inspira rooms and areas. We accepted because we genuinely wanted to see if these rooms were worth it for a next visit. Turns out after two hours of the “tour” they wanted to sell us and pressure us into “investing” in a membership in order to get access to 38 nights at a discounted price. The employee that was called “Alejandro” or “Alex” was super nice at first, but when we turned out the offer and told them we were not interested, he got really agitated and started questioning us even about our spending habits. At the end we felt insulted and discriminated and did not want to proceed with their propositions. We got gifted two spa massages as a “thank you for your time”. Apart from this, the stay was comfortable and appreciated food and drink variety. Overall service, very good.

The Alelier is still a relatively new property and still feels new. The staff were outstanding. We've been to quite a few all inclusive/resorts and I'd put their staff at or near the top. It truly makes the experience special when you are made to feel comfortable. We stayed in an Inspira swim out suite and very much enjoyed it. The roof top pool was the best perk for us. The butler service was quite attentive and helpful. The food was quite good. We aren't overly picky and easily found something we enjoyed at all the restaurants. They had a live rock band one night, and another where they had a dance party where you'd wear headphones to hear the music. Ordinarily I'd say that wouldn't be something we'd enjoy but we went with it and had a blast. We were celebrating an anniversary so decided to splurge a bit beyond what we'd normally spend and we had zero complaints and would do it again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!! My husband got food poisoning from them our 2nd to last night and they took no initiative to make it right-only to say they aren’t doctors and they have had no other complaints. Well we asked for the doctor to come to our room and guess what he said it was- food poisoning!!! Then we had to pay for the medicine/treatment. My husband spent the last day of our babymoon stuck in bed not eating, drinking. Couldn’t take advantage of the resort at all. On our way out after speaking with guest services you would think they would want to make it right-NOPE. They did nothing to make it right and once again didn’t take any accountability or even say SORRY this happened to you. I have been to Mexico 8 times and stayed at many other resorts and have never had any issues. We are absolutely NOT coming back after the way they treated us. What an immense disappointment!!

At ATELIER Playa Mujeres, we enjoyed a week-long stay with dinners at Cala Di Luna (Mediterranean), Los Abrazos Steakhouse, Takeshi, El Suspiro, and Cilento (our fave). Our experience surpassed common concerns about all-inclusive resorts, with outstanding food, drinks, and service. Pls ask about private dining options at Cilento and ask for Arturo & Octavio. This adults-only resort (16 years) is perfect for a couples' retreat. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with great 24-hour room service. Marcela at housekeeping kept our clean and stocked! The gym was clean and spacious, and we look forward to returning with our 18 yr old daughter.
