They are building a new hotel Nextdoor so it was loud, not their fault but you need to know that. Draft beers, no straws or water bottles so for those reasons I won’t be back. Nice people and property nice.

Pro: Amazing Beaches and ocean view. Pool was very nice and clean.my room was in great condition and property was very clean. Breakfast was great! The highlight of food for me. I specially liked the Marco Polo on the Italian menu night. The rest of the food was ok. Con: Bar opens too late (11am) and closes too early (11:50pm). Expected better for an All Inclusive. Amenities are a limited to keep guests entertained which is challenging when the hotel is not really close to any other type of entertainment unless you drive out. Pool music entertainment not the best. They need a new DJ.

My booking was for GR Solaris but when I went to the reception for check in, they offered my a Ocean view room in Royal Solaris as an upgrade because some construction was going on in GR Solaris. Stay was wonderful. Great location and the beach was awesome. Food is good but there aren't many vegetarian options.

We loved our stay at GR Solaris! The cleaning stay were amazing! My one suggestion that I would give after being at other similar scale resorts is the alcohol was very cheap and tasted fair at best. I feel they could definitely improve on this or at least offer some higher shelf liquor for a up charge. The stay was friendly and helpful!

Be prepared for noisy people in the room next to yours. Adjoining room doors allow noisy neighbors to really be heard. My floor was also under construction. Had to sqeeze by workers on ladders in the hallway. Banging pipes in the middle of the night. Outside the pool area was noisy. Building a new hotel right next to the pools. Hammering, sawing, machinery is not peaceful for hotel guests who come to relax. This hotel is dated.The food seemed to be the same every day except for minimal changes. I suppose thats what to be expected at a all inclusive? Restaurant workers were excellent. The evening entertainment shows were good.

We booked this place last minute to escape some cold weather. It was one of the cheaper one. Food was ok. Would suggest to hang around the area where they cook it fresh. Staff was friendly. Watch out for their sales pitch for time shares They will offer specials but will have to waste a couple of hours of your time. Outdoor area and beach was nice. Use the public bus to go into town. It only costs 1$. The taxis are expensive

If you are looking for cleanliness, this is absolutely a gem. A smaller scale resort than we had previously attended. The staff are the most courteous and helpful and willing to go the extra mile. As for the dining experience...this rates as a 3 star. The reason being is for this outstanding resort, it needs improvement. Vegetarian and vegan options are not adequate. Not everyone eats pork and beef. Very little chicken options on the buffet. The pasta at best met a can of tomato sauce. The best area and much less quieter was the buffet closer to the ocean. Carefully nestled in a building, clean, eggs are meticulously scrambled and not in powdered form. The selection of fruit is minimal with melons and citrus with pineapple. The entertainment was a delight. The vocals, exquisite. The dancers should be on Broadway. Their timing was sensational along with choreography. The tuck-shop had your needs, however very costly. Pharmacies are in the area and were much less expensive. A cab ride to downtown would cost approx $15US from this property. Overall, the staff and cleanliness of the resort are true selling points. You would not find a cleaner resort elsewhere. The outdoor oven is a pure hit amongst vacationers. The gym is sufficient for no more than 4 persons to work-out comfortably in. Needs some TLC for sure. The grounds outside were kept perfectly. The beach was clean with flags allocated and a lifeguard on duty, Sufficient lounge chairs for all!
