I enjoyed my stay. I will be returning again in the future. I just wish to check in process was a little more smoother. I only went for the weekend and I felt like the staff during my check-in process was very inconsiderate. They held me hostage for over two hours before providing me with the keys to my room to discuss timeshares that I’m not interested in. Beautiful hotel with beautiful amenities. I love the room and the staff, but the check-in process needs major improvement. I went on vacation to relax not be harassed about a timeshare plan.

Gorgeous room… however i couldnt use the jacuzzi on the terrace that is specifically bought that room for because it would constantly make my power go out! Reservations for restairants constantly booked so i was only ever able to eat in the buffet.. buffet food was decent however i wanted to experience the other restaurants!!! So not fair smh i wouldnt go back.. however it wasnt TERRIBLE.. but just not for me

Did not get requested room ( 2 queen beds) and room was dirty when we arrived. They told us to go eat while they got us a new room ( they actually just sent a maid to clean it) Did not get compensated, even after being promised a bottle of wine. Room service always took 2 hours and it was near impossible to get bottled water anywhere on the resort. Club had the same music every night and the resort app did not work. Impossible to make any sort of food reservations. Could never get a spot by the pool and it was always shady due to the building. I would not recommend this resort.

Had a great 1 week stay with my girlfriend at the resort. The staff are incredibly friendly and are very attentive (special shout out to Ruben, Ivan, Miguel and their co workers that work by the pool on the adult side of the resort) the food was good but nothing special, I have a sensitive stomach so and didnt get sick once so, that’s something. I did not like how incredibly overpriced and underwhelming the spa services were and I especially didn’t like how isolated the location of the resort is which left us relying on the extremely expensive taxi services. Overall it’s a great spot to chill out and enjoy the pool and beach for a week IF you’re not feeling planning on leaving the resort.

I can honestly say after being there for 5 days, this was a very relaxing vacation and experience. Went for my wife’s birthday. The nightclub experience was fun, the hookah they offer. The dining options, the all you can eat buffet and breakfast. The spa was great considering they offer haircuts as well. Belen did a great job with my on the spot hair cut. The showers were hot, the jacuzzi worked, the room service was great, nobody was hounding you or upselling you everyone was just there to serve you and make sure your experience was one to remember. I don’t understand these negative reviews. You truly get to make your own experience and have fun the entire time. Choose your path, at the hideaway, the Royalton family experience, and the diamond club experience. All of it was great for family and kids… huge amounts of pools, great splash pads for kids…The sand was soft. Ocean was beautiful and the drinks continued flowing!

No human should stay at this hotel .. it is the most filthy I’ve ever experienced in my years.. From balcony odors , bathroom, bedroom the entire place is funky.. Disgusting I checked in 3:30pm checked back out 4pm that how bad the hotel was.. Do not be deceived by the pictures.. Some Canadian owns the property, apparently he doesn’t care so much about he’s business I’m still waiting for my refund ..

Absolutely terrible room! Do NOT go with the basic balcony. It faces an old road that is flooded with swamp water that smells terrible. We couldn’t even step outside because the smell was so bad, as well as the bugs that it brought along with it.

The staff were very attentive and very helpful. We stayed in the hideaway section and I liked how they have some kind of entertainment activities everyday. Overall I liked my stay and would recommend. The only thing was that the rooms needs to be maintained more and looks a bit old but other than that it was so much fun.

This resort has a ton of amenities! The butler service and experienced concierge were tremendous. The hideaway area for adults only was definitely separate from the kids section. Lots of pools, beautiful beach, exceptionally friendly staff. I will be back!
