Overall we really enjoyed our stay at hotel Beló. The food at the restaurant was really good but they needed more variety. Especially needing more vegetarian / gluten free options / different options for dietary restrictions. We found that some of the servers didn’t really want to ask kitchen to make accommodations. It would be nice if the menu had more options and / or different menus daily since there’s only one restaurant. Mateo was amazing and was very helpful with whatever we needed. He went above and beyond and offered us whatever he could to make our stay better. We loved our servers Hugo, Jorge, Alberto and Samuel they were the sweetest and so enthusiastic and made our dining experiences amazing. The drinks were also really good and the bartenders were great. The rooms were beautiful and housekeeping kept everything spotless and had a great attention to detail. One thing about our room was that it didn’t have any hot / warm water. We talked to the front desk and they sent someone up to fix it but the issue was never resolved. A couple other guests we talked to had the same issue but it was resolved for them so I’m not sure what it was with our room. Other than that the hotel was beautiful and very clean and modern with beautiful views. It was very relaxing and the perfect place to unwind. The gym was also great with very new and updated equipment and a beautiful view.

I have NEVER enjoyed a place more than I do Hotel Belo! I have extended my stay two times already!! Matteo! Hugo! Alberto and everyone here is so friendly and classy. I believe I've had just about every item on the menu and cannot find one thing to complain about . I will coming back over and over❤️

Staff is very nice and engaging. The food was tasty and good. They have a main restaurant, a pool side grill, and they also have a rooftop bar upstairs. They have various types of food offerings there. The pool has a swim-up bar. Note, there is no buffet option that I saw. There is also a pool next to the upstairs Rooftop Bar. The pool is beautiful and provides a nice view. However, I wish the bar and pool upstairs, at least the bar, was open one more hour, but the downstairs restaurant and bar is open much later. So there are options that go much further into the night. The beach is small and adjacent to other hotels with similar size beaches. So mainland beaches might be larger. They do offer a spa and massages. The massage was quite nice as were the masseuses. The hotel, food, staff are all very good. I would go back.

Staff was incredible! Very eager to assist you. Tipping goes a long way here. While the food options were very limited, it was very good food. The room service menu selection was very poor and we were only able to order off the regular menu because I pushed that we were in presidential suite. I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of our room & the staff being so very attentive & sweet. The air conditioning was marvelous (it helped keep the mildew smell at bay). Hot water situation was not the greatest. Why have that beautiful tub in the best suite if you cannot get hot water to it? Had to have the on-demand hot water heater to shower changed out because it stopped working. Minor inconveniences: No wash cloths (many resorts don't have these so I remembered to bring my own dark ones- makeup won't stain them) No hand towels in 1/2 bath or kitchen area No real ice buckets Like I said, minor. We will definitely try and go back for the service alone.

The property is pleasant, clear and the staff is friendly. We had selected the all inclusive option and it was a huge mistake. Breakfast was the only dependable meal. It appears most dishes are pre-prepared and just warmed up to serve. Food was often cold and tough. Very poor experience on an island where even the most modest restaurant serves freshly and expertly prepared food piping hot. The serving staff appeared poorly trained. Orders were wrong, delivered out of order or not at all. Management didn't appear to have any authority to address concerns. Lovely island, adequate facility -- enjoy the many local restaurants and stay away from the Belo restaurant.

The staff at Belo are so friendly and helpful! From the cleaning staff to the restaurant to the grounds and front desk! Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. I see some complaints about the restaurant having slow service but remember, this is not a huge all inclusive with a huge buffet sitting there who knows how long. The food is cooked to order and worth the wait. We will definitely be visiting again!

The friendliness and efficiency of the staff was wonderful! Severe greeted by Mateo upon our arrival and I felt we would be in good hands. Our family enjoyed the delicious meals and drinks in the dining room. The wait staff-Alejandro, Hugo, Albert, and Abdel ( I think that was his name) were excellent! I would definitely like to come back to Hotel Belo again. The beach area was rather small but there was a large pool area.
