Bathrooms include a separate bath and shower, bathrobes, slippers and complimentary toiletries.

The hotel was good overall, but there was some confusion regarding the advertisement. It seems the property is connected to another one called 'The Grand,' and accessing the water park there requires an additional fee, which wasn't made clear. Expedia should not feature images of the Grand Hotel Water Park if it isn't included in the standard stay. We were also a little bit disappointed with the lack of special amenities for birthdays or anniversaries. They charge $125 to $250 for cake making, which we found to be very expensive, especially since other hotels we've visited in the past offer complimentary cakes for such occasions. Overall, the hotel was great and we had a great experience. Restaurant's food was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I loved that they had a lot of activities for kids throughout the day. Kept them well entertained. Rooms are small. We were only 3 and it felt tight.

We were met at this property with an immediate and pushy sales pitch. Once we insisted we were not interested in membership we were treated very rudely and a bell boy was summoned to show us to our room which consisted of a golf cart ride through a maze of buildings and quite far away from all the action…. Restaurants, bars, entertainment etc. we opted for a swim up room. It rained most evenings as it always does in Mexico which is why Mexico is so beautiful but here, when it rained at night, a noxious raw sewage smell permeated our room to the point it was impossible to sleep! We closed the bathroom door and clogged the sink and that helped some but not much. The patio outside our door was flooded the entire time we were there. We had to lay towels down just to walk without slipping. Nothing was convenient! This resort is giant so be prepared to walk or wait for a golf cart to go anywhere! The food was subpar all around and almost all restaurants require a reservation the day before. The best food we found and basically lived on while there was the coffee shop/cafe sandwiches in the Sunrise lobby! At this resort you are not a guest you are a number. We will not go back.
