This wasn’t the home we stayed in. We stayed at southern comfort. This home we had reserved first but 2 weeks before departure the reservation was cancelled. Roelens did a great job and sent me other options that fit my wants and needs. The home we stayed in was nice. It smelled like the precious tenants had a seafood party, dishes in the cabinets were dirty, food stuck on silverwear. The pool safety net was broke. Few other minor issues but overall it was a quiet neighborhood, warm pool and comfy beds. We all had a blast!! I addressed the issues with roelens and they were quick to resolve whatever we needed. Since our initial reservation was canceled I did expect some sort of compensation, such as an early check in. That was not granted. Which is fine, if the house wasn’t ready, however as long as it took to have the home ready I expected it to be cleaner smelling and clean dishes. I had asked for a late check out in return. Received a text saying late check out was available. Awesome. When I responded and automated reply came saying a late check out may not be available. Received confusing messages regarding the house that was canceled and the house we actually stayed in. Eventually found out The late check out was available at no cost which was a nice gesture however it was sent pretty close to check out time so we were already packed and ready to leave. Again no issues. My only complaint would be the room set up for kids is directly above the primary master room.
