Was expecting the place to be excellent, but it just wasn’t. It wasn’t necessarily bad…it was just kind of average. Courtyard room was pretty soulless…not particularly cosy or welcoming. Tiny bathroom that needed some work. Poor beer choices in the bars. We attended a wedding in the marquee in the grounds. I’m not sure if the food served there was provided by the hotel. But it was dire. Good points are the location, beautiful views (especially from roof terrace) and ample parking. Also the restaurant and terrace are nice. Underwhelming on the whole.

We liked the room and restaurant dinner. The reception and bar had a good atmonphere We were less impressed by the Eggs Royale and full breakfast of which some parts seemed as if they were a lttle long under the heatlamps. Certainly not of the quality of the evening meal.

Had a great, last minute deal on a superior countryside room - very large room with comfortable beds and view over the beautiful countryside towards the hills. Really enjoyed the food in the restaurant for dinner ( desserts highly recommended!!) and breakfast. Total cost £300 inclusive of B&B, dinner, two bottles of Cariad still blush wine and felt it was good value for the size and quality of the accommodation and food offer. Diolch yn fawr!

Sunday visit
Have heard some good things about Llanerch so thought we would give it a try. Spent a Sunday evening there and it was as good as reported. Staff excellent along with the room. Had a nice walk in the grounds. Was surprised that the evening menu was the Sunday Roast menu but the food again was excellent. Would visit again.
