Room was really cold, radiator didn't work. Really uncomfortable bed and pillows and the shower was held together with red sticky tape so was unable to change the height of it

Dark and dingy rooms. No air conditioning. No mattress protectors on the bed. Cleanliness could be better. Rude and non sensical bouncers on the door when you return from your night out. Won’t be staying again.

Family break

We went with my son and grandson, we love Cardiff. The hotel is located near to the centre of the shopping centre and Castle. We can't fault the facilities except we didn't have windows that opened and the air conditioning was too loud for us to sleep, but everything else such as the shower, the room and facilities downstairs like the bar were brilliant, we would definitely recommend it to you!

Good location, poor hotel

Location brilliant, can't be faulted. Rest of the hotel needs a lot of work. Entry lobby absolutely freezing which is a shame as we would have used the bar and restaurant otherwise. Room dirty and lights broken, but not horrific. Common areas were filthy though and looked like they hadn't been cleaned or hoovered in at least a week. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.

perfect for motorpoint arena!

perfect for the arena opposite. hotel was clean and staff were friendly. could do with a vending machine or similar on the floors as after a concert there is nowhere open to get a bottle of water etc to take to your room. otherwise no faults to mention.

Trip for university interview

Very convenient location for city centre and train station. Stay was excellent and staff very good. Only issue was taxi booked through the hotel was 15 minutes late which caused us some concern as attending an interview but everything turned out well in the end.

Bit of a let down

Having stayed at this city centre hotel many times , I had no worries about booking again ,although this time it was a mistake as most of the room levels were being re-decorated we arrived 19:00 but it was as if the contractors had just up and left , mess everywhere ie paint scrapings , tape, dust and looking very grubby the room was in need of redecorating also looking very grubby totally not up to the usual Rad-park inn standards , surely the contractors should of cleaned up before leaving site, if I had known this was going on I would have booked elsewhere, I won't go into being kept awake until 4-5am with an endless stream of revellers banging on doors singing shouting and screaming we did voice our concerns when we checked out .
