Nice hotel but avoid the bar

The hotel was nice with very friendly staff and had great amenities however the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned as there was dirt in the bath and we found lipstick stains on the glasses before we used them, there’s lots to do in the local area, however I would not recommend the hotel bar as £7.50 and for a old Mout cider and £19 for a gin and tonic is day light robbery

birthday trip as a couple

Birthday trip, staff were friendly and efficient, accommodation was clean and comfortable, we had room service for dinner and this was delivered promptly and was hot and tasty. The lakeside room was quiet and had lovely view over lake with only ducks, swans, geese, herons and Cormorants for company!

Beautiful place to stay, very friendly, welcoming staff who offered very good service. We had a lovely courtyard room, very clean, had everything we needed, excellent food both dinner and breakfast, lots of choice. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Lovely stay for a chilled weekend.

Love the hotel, the grounds lovely, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing was the tv had only four channels, no ITV or channel 4 Or 5. Would have been nice to have these later in the evening.

we had a lovely time but not happy with the swimming lesons going on in the swimming not something i was expecting for a couple night away it felt like being in a community swimming pool eith lots of noise not very relaxing other than thst everything else was brilliant
