Hidden gem

The room was very clean and comfortable and located close to the Carolina Beach boardwalk. The heat in my room was not working and I texted the motel manager. They were very responsive and had someone out within the hour to fix the heat. When they couldn't fix it, they moved me to another room that was nicer than my original booking. I would stay here again.

The property was fine, small but quaint. However, there was a lot of floral scent in all the linens, towels, and generally all over the place and it was causing us allergic reactions, or at leasr nasal irritations. Also, The worst part was the hot water was not working. We ended up leaving and driving home at 2: a.m. I called the office in the morning to inform them, but there response was that I should have called, and they could have sent maontenance out in the morning-a useless gesture. They didn't seem to care.

The room was clean. The bathroom was rather small and there was only one small trashcan in the bathroom. It would be helpful to have another trashcan. The location was great! Each room had chairs and a table outside of it, which would be nice in warmer weather. The keypad light also did not work, which made it difficult to see the numbers to get in the door. Overall, a good deal.

Wonderful Respite

We loved our time at Carolina Beach Motel- We only spent 1 night but they were so accommodating when we had car trouble and trip was delayed a day. Staff was helpful with check in and we loved being able to walk to Mexican restaurant for dinner! Also walking distance to beach and shops. We will definitely be back- space is small but wonderfully thought out and includes a microwave, adorable fridge and coffee maker. It was immaculately clean and plenty of towels which is a huge bonus!

Very cute room that’s so close to the beach! Recently renovated (we were the first guests that booked!) and it was a great stay. The owners were super prompt with any questions/concerns and very professional. Looking forward to staying there again for a quick beach trip!

Loved the room and the outside seating area. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels/wash cloths. Really good coffee and creamer which you almost never get from a hotel room coffee. Also the location was awesome. We walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. Check in process could not have been easier. Five stars for sure!
