Great value with a terrific pool and breakfast
Loved this place. Fine location. The pool was a welcome oasis on a hot day. Walkable to restaurants or just eat on the deck. Nice staff.

It was nice but not boutique
Boutique this was not. Location was good. Pool was lovely with sufficient beds. No coffee/ tea making facilites in the room. Charged to rent pool towels. Breakfast was nice, although hot food was an additional charge.

Love the Approdo.
This was our third stay at the Approdo and we will definitely go back again. The location, staff (at all levels enhance the experience) pool & restaurant are great. Overall the rooms are big & well appointed with one observation - the shower works but in our view could do with upgrading / modernising. However we thoroughly recommend the Approdo for a great value for money stay.

Hotel and pool area great,all perfectly situated for the town an surrounding attractions,easily walkable,. Rooms comfortable double bed ok but single bed bit of an after thought,shower to small as you can’t help knocking control unit and scalding yourself,air con good,breakfasts a bit lacking as they bring you very small portions of bread and coffee etc and you have to keep asking for more,don’t buy the restaurant food unless you are cash rich.

Nice 4-star hotel "de finibus terrae"
Great weekend get-away hotel at a good price in late September. Spacious room and bedroom, friendly and helpful reception personnel, Covid19-adjusted breakfast buffet. The hotel has a nice, large pool and sun deck on a terrace overlooking the port of S. Maria di Leuca and provides a view of the lighthouse on a hill above the city. One can walk to anywhere in the town within a few minutes.

Great hotel and location.
Second time in 2019 that we stayed at the Approdo and it didn’t disappoint. Everything up to expectations, pool area fantastic. Breakfast a bit samely but produce good - didn’t use restaurant in evening. Hotel location great. We will stay again and thoroughly recommend to others.

Pool is nice but there are mosquitos/flies making the stay moderately unpleasant. Rooms are outdated. Lobby and shared areas are spacious but rundown. Decoration is nice but old. Service is ok, not great. Restaurant is good but not great. Breakfast is ok, options are very limited, quality is basic (discount type products). Fresh fruit selection is limited, no eggs no meat (beacon/sausage for breakfast) only cold cuts. View is nice, when you find the spot, but from the pool, common areas and balcony you mostly see vegetation or construction sites, to really see the sea you have to look for it. Location is good but not great, to get to the lungomare you have to walk (10-15 minutes) along a road with no walkway and a lot of traffic, speeding cars and a blind curve, dangerous specially at night. I was not comfortable walking with a young kid after sunset, cars drive fast and don't see you until it's too late. Prices are high (it was the most expensive hotel I could book) so overall not a great value, in particular with the boutique expectation. I will certainly look for a different accommodation next year.

Wonderful hotel in an incredible location
Not the most trendy hotel but a really nice hotel, with friendly helpful staff and in a great location. Stayed here for two nights when driving around Puglia solo for a week. Room was a bit dated but very clean and ultimately comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also a great set up for the day. Pool area is wonderfully relaxing and peaceful. The staff were all excellent. Highly recommend this place. I already have to other people I’ve met when travelling.

Room and balcony were dirty.room facilities are in bad condition. TV screen is only 20 inches wide.shower place is very small, you even cannot pick up your soap if it fell down. no trash container at room
