It's a nice upscale hotel with two bars, and dining options in hotel. I like all the historical exhibits. Walking distance to shopping and dining. The one thing we didn't like was that it was loud in our room. You could hear people talking next door. The acoustics echo everywhere. Couldn't sleep.

When we went for breakfast we waited a very long time for service then finally went to the front desk. They sent someone back to find the waitress. There were other patrons waiting as well. The hash browns were inedible, over cooked and very hard. The front desk people were great as always.

We just spent 4 days there and had a great time. The hotel was superb and changing from the wool mill into a hotel was very well done. Loved all the historic displays. They were fascinating. The only drawback was that the noise bounced around the halls and nice sitting area upstairs. The staff was superb, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the hotel and area. The Indigo restaurant Food was excellent and the service was above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed it and ate there all 4 nights of our stay. Thank you for making our visit so pleasurable we would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was a great place to stay. I highly recommend the Millwright. The room was nice and large. The bathroom and shower was large. The bar was fun and the staff was easy to talk too.

The hotel was a Woolen Mill so it has an old brick industrial facade. Inside its industrial modern with histotic artefacts displayed giving a hintbof antiquity. Dinner at the Indigo Room was a treat. The surrounding area of the town of Amana and Amana colonies is quaint and artsy and full of culture and local lore making the Hotel Millwright a great place to stay.

A lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Peaceful environment. They do allow pets to stay so if you don’t want a hotel that allows fur babies this might not be for you.

Another beautiful stay at the Millwright!!
We have had the opportunity to stay at the Millwright several times, and we have never been disappointed. From the greeting from Dave to our departure our service was excellent. Thank you for turning the woolen mill into a wonderful place to stay.
