Beautiful relaxing resort out of the way. Most staff were great. Breakfast was fantastic. Pool area amazing. Shuttle into Cefalu is great except that the last return shuttle is at 6:30 which doesn’t help you get into town for dinner so we had to take taxis back. Lunch options by the pool were a little too fancy for our tastes. Cold pool, brrrr.

The best feature of this hotel is its staff. The accomodation is well thought out, very comfortable and all looking iut iver the sea or pool. The fine dining is amazing, the cocktails and drinks were of a great standard. Shuttle.bus is a real bonus.

Eine gute Idee, ein Resort in der Nähe des Mittelmeeres zu schaffen. Allerdings - trotz der guten Qualität der Zimmer und des Services- die Wermutstropfen: täglich außer Sonntag zwischen 6 Uhr in der Frühe und ca. 22 Uhr abends die lauten Geräusche und gelegentlicher Zementregen eines Betonwerkes unmittelbar neben der Unterkunft mit minimalem Meerblick (leider nur Ausschnitte des Meeres). Laute Geräusche und starke Küchengerüche der Abluft der Küche sind zu ertragen; immerhin kann man ahnen, was gerade gekocht wird. Der Service ist sehr gut, die Küche ebenso. Mit der Zeit wird es nicht so genau genommen, d. h. Frühstück ab 7.30 Uhr heisst 8 Uhr... Die Zimmer sind hervorragend eingerichtet. Will man die oben genannten negativen Dinge vergessen, immerhin ist man in Sizilien, muss man viel Fantasie haben. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis dieser Unterkunft ist also gewöhnungsbedürftig...

Helt fantastiskt boende på Insulae!
Insulae Resort var helt perfekt på alla punkter! Frukosten var helt fantastiskt. Lugnt hotell med endast 18 rum. Vårt hotellrum var så fint och fräscht och underbart med uteplatsen. Gymmet låg utomhus vilket var skönt! Poolen är fin och perfekt med trappor på olika nivåer så man kan sitta i vattnet och sola. En av kvällarna åt vi på hotellets restaurang och det var högsta betyg på både mat och service. Personalen på hotellet var väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig. Jag hade kunnat åka till Sicilien igen enbart för att få bo på Insulae!

We really enjoyed our stay at Insulae. A beautiful place to relax. Very clean, great breakfast, nice outside area with lounges, pool, ping pong and private terrace. Very friendly and sweet staff. We rather used the public beach which is in walking distance than the private sea access. The location is a bit far out to Cefalu city, but we knew that in advance, so no problem. Things that could be improved: possiblity to hang up wet towels etc. The parties booked by external people were a bit unexpected and noisy.

Sehr schönes, neues Hotel. Es hat eine gute Größe (geschätzt ca. 20 Zimmer). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Cefalù ist ein schöner Ort. Sowohl der (Sand-)Strand als auch die ganzen Geschäfte und Restaurants haben uns überzeugt. Abends kann man dort schön flanieren. Allerdings ist dafür ein Auto praktisch, weil der Weg in die Stadt zu Fuß über eine Schnellstraße sehr gefährlich und zu lang ist.
