Excellently located hotel
The hotel is in a great location, about 25 metres from the beach and not far from Papete, which is the main beach club in the evenings. It's about a 10 - 15 mins stroll from the main strip with all the restaurants and bars. The hotel lobby is very nicely decorated and the pool and breakfast dining area are lovely. The hotel staff are also nice and helpful though were unable to provide maps of the area! Unfortunately the bedrooms in the hotel do let it down a bit. They were clean and the beds were comfortable but the bathroom was quite small and the decor in the bedroom was very dated and chintzy. It's definitely not in keeping with the decor in the lobby which is very sleek and modern. We were staying in the superior rooms - these are the middle range rooms. The top end rooms looked a little more modern but the bedroom furniture was exactly the same. The superior room also has a balcony, ours got the sun but we were looking onto the neighbouring hotel. To be honest though, we spent no time on the balcony. The breakfast provided was a buffet style breakfast. There was a range of choices of cereal, yoghurts, cold meats, cheese, boiled/scrambled eggs, bacon and bread. It was OK but the quality wasn't the best we had in our stay in Italy as the bread wasn't particularly good and there was no fresh fruit (such a shame when the bread and fruit in Italy are so good!). Overall I'd recommend the hotel based on it's great location, lovely pool and staff.

È imbarazzante che sia un hotel 3 stelle. Non esiste una reception al Carillon, ingresso sempre aperto a chiunque.. Camere minuscole non adatte a 3/4 persone, bagno altrettanto piccolo e pulizia che lascia a desiderare.. È assurdo che si possano mettere foto di altri hotel ( hotel sorriso) per ingannare le persone. SCONSIGLIATO!

Stanze poco pulite, letto a castello senza scaletta ne sponda, molto pericoloso. La porta d’ingresso dell hotel è sempre aperta e non vi è nessuno che sorvegli, chiunque può entrarvi. Check in previsto ore 14 la stanza ci è stata consegnata un ora dopo, speravo in una pulizia impeccabile considerando il ritardo, ma niente. Il secondo giorno dopo la “pulizia” mattutina in una camera tripla ci è stato lasciata solo una salvietta. Hotel sicuramente non da 3 stelle

Struttura decadente. Stanza veramente malmessa. Odore di muffa, pareti rovinate, bagno senza luce, rubinetto doccia rotto e tante altre cose che rendono impossibile pensare che si tratti di un tre/ quattro stelle. Unica cosa positiva, il personale gentile e disponibile.

Un’occasione sprecata
La stanza era vergognosamente piccola. Eravamo in 3 nello spazio adatto a una stanza singola.Non si sa come siano riusciti a infilarci un letto matrimoniale e uno singolo. Ottima la colazione e buona la piscina, ma il rapporto qualità prezzo è negativo per via della stanza davvero poco confortevole

Das Carillon selbst eher 2 Sterne als 3
Das Carillon war ziemlich enttäuschend: die Zimmer, das Bad und der Balkon sehr klein, die Betten auf billihen Metallrahmen mit sehr harter Matratze. Positiv: die Einrichtung des Sorriso dürfen mit benutzt werden und die sind sehr ansprechend. Ein Wechsel vom Carillon ins Sorriso wurde uns am zweiten Tag ohne aufpreis ermöglicht. Das Zimmer dort war um Klassen besser und schöner. Fazit: Sorisso gerne wieder, Carillon bestimmt nicht.

Bella stuttura a due passi dal mare
Trascorsa una bella vacanza, hotel accogliente e moderno, vicinissimo al mare. Belle le camere della struttura principale, spaziose e confortevoli, meno quelle della dipendance ... (vista una per tre persone molto piccola, armadietto ricavato nel muro e un bagnetto minuscolo e scomodo). Ottima accoglienza del personale alla reception, del personale ai piani , ottima professionalitaà e cordialità del personale di sala, sempre pronti e attenti alle esigenze e sempre sorridenti e gentili.

Hotel molto carino a due passi dal mare
Si tratta di due hotel, in realtà. Il Sorriso e il Carillon sono ubicati molto vicini, quindi si raggiunge facilmente la reception ed in secondo luogo è davvero molto vicino anche il mare. Molto gentile il personale alla reception, così come i servizi aggiuntivi offerti.

Hôtel bien situé
Quelle déception lorsque nous avons su que nous étions dans le bâtiment "Carillon" et non au "Sorriso" ce qui est complètement différent. Même si le Carillon est tout à fait correct, il fait beaucoup moins moderne que le Sorriso et dispose de chambres beaucoup plus petites. Cependant la situation à 2 pas de la plage est idéale et la piscine et le jacuzzi de l'hôtel sont justes au top ! Sans compter le petit déjeuner en terrasse qui dispose d'un superbe service.

Fate attenzione se prenotate l'hotel sorriso e carillon su questo sito, vi metteranno nella struttura di fianco che e' l hotel Carillon 3 stelle. la reception e' nell' hotel sorriso, un hotel 4 stelle molto bello ma poi con gran stupore ci si ritrova in un modesto 3 stelle di una volta. Prego il sito Hotels di essere piu' chiaro su questa cosa e segnalarlo a chiare lettere sulla pagina!

Hotell Sorristo-- Bekvämt och barnvänligt
Lugnt, nära till strand, bekväma rum. Har man barn så har hotellet tänkt på det. Smålyxig känsla i foajén. Trevlig personal. Med 2-300 m promenad är man nere i områdescentrum med mycket restauranger, butiker, nöjesfält och marknad (under sommaren i.a.f). Stranden utanför mycket bra och badvänlig. Rekomenderas men tips; boka på Internet. Vi ville förlänga med en natt, men det kostade mkt mer via direkt vid receptionen, så vi bokade tilläggsnatten på via datorn istället...

Ottimo Hotel
Hotel in nona traversa, molto bello e confortevole, vicinissimo al mare e a un quarto d'ora a piedi dal centro. Camere spaziose e buon rapporto qualità prezzo per le depandace dove ho alloggiato insieme al mio compagno.

Hotel Sorriso&Carillon - non farsi ingannare dalle foto sul sito
le parti comuni dell'albergo sono ristrutturate di recente molt belle, peccato che invece le camera nella dependance e credo alcune nella struttura principale siano piccole, vecchie e scomode (per es. il bagno è piccolissimo e senza piatto della doccia, ma con lo scarico direttamente sul pavimento; la TV è accanto al letto e quindi difficile da guardare; etc.). Oltre alla bassa qualità della camere rispetto al prezzo, al mattino la nostro risveglio abbiamo scoperto che in bagno non veniva acqua fredda, ma solo bollente (impossibile farsi una doccia) e che lo scarico non funzionava. Al che abbiamo chiesto alla reception di mandare qualcuno, ma dopo 30 min non era ancora arrivato nessuno.Dovendo cambiare camera per la notte successiva, abbiamo chiesto (alle 10h00) che la nostra nuova camera fosse preparata al più presto per darci modo di lavare ecc. e ci è stato risposto che non poteva essere pronta prima delle 13h00 (assurdo visto eventuali altri ospiti avrebbero dovuto lasciarla alle 10h!!!). Alla fine in seguito alla nostra insistenza ci hanno dato un'altra camera già pronta che per disperazione abbiamo accettato anche se di categoria inferiore rispetto a quella che avevamo pagato. Insomma NON CONSIGLIAMO questo hotel, anche vista la scarsa gentilezza del personale!
