LOVELY AND TIPICAL MOUNTAIN CHALET IN FRONT OF MOUNT BLANC, 800 ME FROM CENTER

The MYELE chalet is ideal for those who want a holiday in a warm atmosphere and for those who love to wake up to the natural and surprising spectacle of the Mont Blanc range.
It is a location that is very popular both for those visiting Chamonix for adrenaline and sports holidays and for those who love the tranquility of family or couple holidays, as the house is only 800 meters from the city center but in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
Usually from the chalet I reach the center on foot following the Arve river, even for daily purchases, and in summer it is lovely to sunbathe or have lunch under an umbrella or dine by candlelight outside with the frame of the Alps , in particular of the Glacier des Bosson, Mont Blanc and the Aguilles du Midi.
The atmosphere of the chalet is welcoming because it is the family home where I like to go back for my holidays. At the same time, it gratifies me to know that my guests are comfortable there.
Myele is a typical alpine chalet, renovated in 2007, is finished in wood and furnished with quality fir wood furniture, all this gives the chalet a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
In the kitchen and bathroom I had two mosaics made expressly by a local artist, which give the rooms a special and unique touch.
The attic bedroom (80 - 170 cm high) is all in wood and bright. The master bedroom on the ground floor has a big size bed.
The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are new
 From the terrace and the garden to the south enjoys a spectacular view of the entire Mont Blanc chain, in particular the Aguilles du Midi (highest cableway in Europe), the Bosson Glacier, Mont Blanc and the other side of the top of the Brevent.
The chalet has two parking spaces for guests.
The chalet is easily accessible from the Mont Blanc Tunnel (15 minutes) and the Route Blanche. In winter the streets are always clean and the ski bus stop is only 100 meters away.
From the chalet you can easily reach the ski slopes, the paths for trekking routes, the climbing wall, the Lac des Gaillantes, the sports center, the swimming pool and the skating rink.

Family stay for 4 nights
Our family of 4 (3.5 and 1.5 year olds) stayed for 4 nights. House is as described. Location is about 1k from town. Lovely garden area and views up to Mont Blanc.

Wonderful authentic, charming rustic traditional chalet
We loved this beautiful, charming, rustic traditional Chamonix chalet nestled in the quiet part of Chamonix. Only a short 15 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Chamonix and yet the chalet was so peaceful and quiet at all times. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. It was an absolute joy and pleasure to stay here. We shall return!

Great location, beautiful garden space. However, we are a relatively fit group but none of us fancied tackling the extremely steep narrow staircase to the twin room. This should be made clear in the property description. The overall decor leaves a lot to br desired. The plasic flowers were particularly hideous and their sole purpose seemed to be to gather dust! But it is an absolutely beautiful and perfect location.

Rustic accommodation, great location
We stayed as family with our two toddlers age 1 + 3 in August. The chalet had all we needed for a month playing out in the mountains, and we were brilliantly looked after by Hattie. The kitchen and living area is fairly compact, but both downstairs bedrooms are a good size and the loft room is fine for children or a shorter stay for adults. Really well located with very quick access to the train at Les Moussoux or a 10 min walk to Chamonix Sud.

Sweet, but needs some care.
This is a great little rustic house. We enjoyed everything, especially the location. Our only suggestion is that the place needs a top to bottom detailed scrubbing (the walls, baseboards, corners, etc) and they need to get rid of the plastic flowers covered in dust. Still, we liked the house - it coulld be perfect.

Quirky little jewel
Chalet is quirky but suited us really well. Slept 6 - although the two in the loft bed found the roof a little low. TV was a bit patchy but we were there for the skiing. Location was ok - there is a super market 5/10 mins walk away; town about 15 mins walk and a 20 min drive to Les Houches. Parking was a little tricky - the car park area was really icy. All in all though, it was ideal for our needs. Clean, warm, dry and had everything you’d need for 6 people skiing everyday.

Everything we needed for 4 adults and an 18 month toddler. Cooked dinners in and ate on the patio or dining table. Hattie is really helpful and her advice was spot on. Lots of family hikes and outings. Quick walk to center of town. All in all - great choice.

Basic but good size and warm.
Very rustic and a bit "Heath Robinson," but overall it had a good location; just out of town but on the bus route. Apartment is basic but clean and pleasant. It had everything you would want and was well heated. Six of us stayed, 4 adults and two teenagers and it was much bigger than the idea you get from the photos.

The chalet was rustic but everything we needed for the weekend. clean and stocked. the yard was awesome for the two dogs. Hattie was very responsive with the directions and Darren was very nice and welcomed us after we arrived. the owner, Elena was very responsive when making the reservations. close to the town, we walked each day...will certainly be back soon.

Very comfortable and excellent value for money.
Six of us stayed at the chalet for 8 nights in late March/early April 2016 - 5 adults and a 3 year old. The kitchen and chalet overall is very well-equipped and well heated. Two toilets are very helpful for a group of 6. We had a car so didn't need to use the ski bus. The ski area in Les Houches, with free parking right next to the gondola, is only a few minutes drive away and is very nice for family skiing. We also drove up to the Brevent lift, again just a few minutes away and with a large multi-story parking. Out of ski boots the town centre is a very pleasant 10-15 minute walk. The owner, Elena, was away during our stay, but a lovely and very helpful New Zealand girl, Hattie, looked after us in her absence. We were very happy with our stay at the Chalet.

Chalet très bien placé, spacieux, fonctionnel et confortable, avec une magnifique vue sur le Mont Blanc et tous les sommets alentour . Procédure d'entrée et de sortie très facile. Les 2 jardins clos étaient très pratiques pour notre chien. Seule petite réserve : l'annonce laisse entendre qu'il y a 2 douches alors qu'il n'y en a qu'une. Mais nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour chez Elena.

Quiet and quaint
The house was exactly as expected from the images - rather yesteryear, but a good base for us, just 2 people and a dog - with the ski slopes easily accessible by car and downtown Chamonix just 10 mins walk away. It was super quiet, warm (albeit by a noisy central heating sytem), functional - kitchen fine for preparing an evening meal, plenty of hot water for a shower, and good pressure, roomy main bedroom, and the TV / WiFi was capable of streaming. The path was very icy so we invested in over-shoe crampons. All in all, a very enjoyable mini ski break.

The house sleeps easily 4 people, upstairs is difficult to reach steep stairs, the house was clean, but needs some updates concerning electricity, floors...the outside sittingerea is ok.

ce n'est pas un chalet mais une maison a courant d'air.12 degrés dans l'entrée, 15 dans la salle de bain avec le chauffage a fond- 16 dans la chambre à l'étage mais escalier trop dangereux pour les enfants et on ne tient pas debout. lumiere toute la journée car devant les fenétres il y a une haie de 4m. mobiliers usés et inconfortables comme la maison. What a nice location
It'a a lovely chalet, the atmosphere of the house is warm and is amazing going out and looking at the majestic White Mountain, Aiguilles du Midi. I stayed yet here in summer and we like so much dinner in the garden. It's close to center but quite far to stay in a silent area. The owner is really nice and Hattie, who welcomed us, is really helpful. We cant' wait for other holidays

My family and I enjoyed very much in this nice and very intimate chalet. The description given to us by the owner and the photos correspond perfectly. The owner and Hattie are very helpful and nice. We will definitely return, given that both the position of chalet, with respect to the center of Chamonix, and the view from the garden are amazing

Ubicación ideal
La ubicación del chalet es perfecta, esta a unos 10 minutos de un apeadero de tren, hay hueco para aparcar dentro de la finca. Si se va en verano, tienes la ventaja de poder utilizar la terraza para realizar barbacoas. El Chalet en lineas generales esta bien, pero en la cocina los utensilios se pueden renovar un poco (sartenes, cuchillos, sacacorchos...)

Location très bien située face au Mont Blanc. Bon accueil' Situé dans un quartier très calme, très agréable, tout près du centre. Dommage, la maison n'était pas très propre à notre arrivée. Un canapé pour 2 personnes trop juste quand nous sommes 6!! 2 belles chambres mais celle du haut n'est pas utilisable par cet escalier trop dangereux!!
