Property is run down, room was dirty. There were people sitting in the hallway not sure why? Definitely didn’t feel safe. We checked in late and our room was already open when we arrived. Shower was very slippery and had mold on the curtains and walls.

The noise from the highway was very loud (even though we were on the 10th floor!). We did like the free shuttle into the city, this was an unexpected bonus. The room itself was fine with a big comfy bed and pillows. Could only get lukewarm water in the shower though.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, the property is quite dated. We noticed mold in the shower and on the ceiling. Additionally, there were small holes in the wall around the air conditioning unit that allowed us to see outside. We chose this place primarily for its location.

We always have a wonderful visit every time we stay at Charleston Riverview. It’s convenient and we love the bar upstairs with that amazing view. Rooms are comfortable and linens are very good.

We stayed in room 209. The bath tub felt like it was going to fall through the floor. The toilet wobbled so bad that I thought I was going to fall off and the floor in the room was really sticky. The whole property looked like it could use a refurbishment

Bedraggled Charm, Great Staff, Location, and VIEW!
Intrigued with this building for many years and had the chance to explore because of a friend’s wedding and needing a place to stay. A bit bedraggled in finishes, but that adds to the charm, at least for me. Real people on staff who aim to please, Stunning view with decent food and great cocktails. I’ll be back.

The bed was very comfy and the pillows too! It was clean and a good layout for combining work and vacation. The restaurant upstairs was really solid and good food. Driving into the hotel and leaving was a little tricky. You can see that this hotel is working to make it better. I would stay there again.
