Loved the proximity to restaurants and to historic Charleston (parks, monuments, shopping, water). Was a bit disappointed in the service (had to request towels & linens as no room service to replace used towels with clean towels and no one emptied garbage until night before check-out) with a four night three adult stay.

Charleston SC is a very busy locationl There is lots to see and do. This hotel is located in a spot that is easy to get to all the places to see. The staff is super helpful. The room s are spacious. It was a great stay for us.

The front desk personnel could be more helpful; such as, give you a map to the Visitor Center, smile, ask if you had been to Charleston before and if not, how could they help. We were only given a key. Should have at least given us a list of the restaurants and a map. On a positive note, the room was beautiful, perfect layout, and the shower was great. Morning breakfast was wonderful.

The hotel was wonderful. My girlfriends and I had a suite so we were able to sit comfortably and have a full kitchen. The area was safe and there was a free shuttle to all attractions.

The staff at this hotel was absolutely terrible. We requested an early check-in and received an email confirmation that our room was ready at 12:30. When we arrived at 1:30 they said it would be 30 to 45 minutes and when we came back 2 1/2 hours later the room was still not ready, and the staff was extremely rude. The ice machine was broken, on the fifth floor, the water pressure in the shower was nonexistent and our room door was broken. I would definitely not recommend staying here.

We loved the King suite with the separate bedroom and full kitchen. We would give 5 stars if the pull-out bed in the sofa were comfortable but it was not. Also, we did not like the barn door on the bathroom - it would not latch easily or stay closed. The hotel was clean, the king bed was comfortable, the showere pressure was great, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
