The room was very clean. There wasn’t much interaction with the lobby staff. The road out front was super loud at night, even on the 14th floor.

The "clean" towels has multiple hairs in them, the bathroom floor was dirty with mold in the corners. And worst of all there was a bottle of urine in the corner of the room, so obviously the room was not thoroughly cleaned.

Overall a great location that was also pet friendly. Parking was full one day, but they did refund the cost for me. We would definitely stay here again for sports weekends in Charlotte.

We checked in on Friday and got to our room and it was sweltering. Fridge was hot, tv didn’t work and air cond barely put out cold air. When I called first time they really were very nonchalant but said they’d send someone up. Someone came but couldn’t fix anything so they said they’d put in engineering ticket for next morning. Well we left the next morning to go get breakfast and walk around. Came back about 1-2 hours later to find our hotel room door open with the deadbolt out to prop door open. Yet no one was in the room. We go in and waited to see who was coming back and no one did for about 10 mins. So I called downstairs and got front desk and they didn’t seem to care at all about the security lapse. He just said oh I guess he left to go around the corner to work on something else. I’m like um that’s not acceptable. I also reminded them about air cond and so finally about hour later someone came and said they couldn’t figure out issue so they would send up the manager. So Nico and Clay came in and tried to work on the things but basically said many air units were breaking down and they had already switched out 4 that weekend. Anyway they were great and understood our frustration. They said they would go tell guest services and get us moved. He said Guest Svcs would be up or call us if they could get us moved. About 30 mins later Nico came back with new keys to new room and said he checked everything and it was all working. Maybe he should run things!

Solid hotel that’s walkable to most everything around downtown Charlotte. Friendly staff, but I would have expected complimentary breakfast for the price we paid to stay.

The room and inside of the hotel was clean for the most part. Outside area smelled like trash at the entrance but since it was a garage I understand that is kind of hard to keep clean. Maybe they need to scrub the trash cans who knows? The front desk attendant was not friendly at all, I would go so far as to say rude. He did not acknowledge customers and when he did acted like they were bothering them. I was patiently waiting for him to help me thinking he was in the process of doing something important since he acted like I wasn’t there typing things on the keyboard, even though he had already finished with the customer ahead of me. Then when he paused to look up at me, just stared giving me a look like what do you want? Not a hello or can I help you just a bored look and I had to say hello first and let him know I was checking in. Once in the room one of the trash cans was missing liners so I stopped housekeeping next door and asked for some and she too didn’t say anything just handed me 2 trash bags and walked off. That could have been a language barrier issue but she understood trash bags so maybe not. However, the housekeeper the following day was super nice and attentive. She was the reason I gave 2 stars instead of just one. We stayed at the Hampton Inn that shares the garage and loved it there so when we went back figured it would be the same experience but it wasn’t and will probably go back to the Hampton next time we are in Charlotte.
