An average stay in a convenient location
Checking in and out was fast and easy with friendly front desk staff. The building itself was okay. There was not a ton of light in the rooms--no overhead lighting and just 3 small lamps and a dim "hall" light. The bed was comfortable. Overall, it was an average hotel. There is a picture of a bar on the website, but it is not functional. They have a vending machine for food and a couple of games in the lobby. While located in a convenient area (close to the airport, close to 77, close to Southend), I did not necessarily feel safe alone in the parking lot, but I was traveling solo and had no choice but to be alone. There was limited parking close to the front entrance, and both nights that I returned to the hotel it was after dark and there were people (not guests) loitering outside. I also had housekeeping knock on my door multiple times within a 30-minute span although I told them I didn't need service and it wasn't my day to check out.

Friendly staff and convenient location
The staff was super and the location very convenient with lots of nearby places to eat. The hotel itself was a bit weary around the edges though well taken care of. When I was there in Oct 2024 they no longer do any food or bar service, just a pot of coffee in the morning. Don't expect fancy or modern, do expect friendly people and nearby eateries.

The staff was amazing and very informative. They gave me the train schedule which was across the street and listed the time it would take to get to each stop which helped me plan a concert on time !! Beautiful hotel

always have a great experience every time i stay here. just be careful at night in the parking lot it's a lot of homeless wandering around but the area is pretty safe overall. also parking is limited around the front so keep that in mind when going out at night.

Nice hotel at great rate
This hotel has the most friendly and helpful staff ever! It is a little older hotel but the nice touches and wonderful staff make up for the few shortcomings. The bed and room were comfortable and everything was clean. It’s a nice hotel at a decent rate.
