old, tired, dirty and poorly maintained room!!!
we booked the Sheraton based to convienence and price, as we wanted to be downtown and yet close to the Avon Auditorium for a show. I tend not to ask for a nice room and boy do I wish I did, the hotel has 3 out of 4 sides with an unemcumbered view, we ended up getting stuck with a room that faces the wall of the Le Meridien, hence NO nice view. Our room looked old, tired and a bit dirty, worn carpet, the sheer curtains were slightly yellowed and not completely attached. The bathroom was even worse, frosting on door to bathroom scratched/stain and gross, the clothes hook was loose and hanging from one screw, bottom trim missing and caked up with grossness. It's hard to feel safe, clean and sanitary sitting on the toliet looking at that door. There was more signs of lack of maintenance, but I just covered what were the big ones to us!!! Somebody at Sheraton needs to fix this if they ever want us to trust Sheraton again!!!

We didn’t like the way we’re greeted.And the room was like a toddler bathroom and the bed s was not a queen size bed they were full size and I paid for 2 queen size beds and non smoking place.People were smoking in the front Entrance every night and day. I am a Asthma patient thank goodness I bought my inhaler Albuterol.And didn’t ask us how was our stay

My positive is the gym at the Sheraton has everything you need no matter your fitness level. Unfortunately the customer service needs a lot of work. I made this a three day stay and the day before checkout I decided to check out my bank activity. Well well, my Expedia quote for the stay was $768 but……the property hit me with a charge of $1,258!!! When I noticed the problem I called the front desk and got zero empathy and the front desk said I need to come down myself and find the manager. Long story short the manage eventually told me the accounting department had made a mistake. I asked “Peter” the manager when would he be talking to accounting and he said”this morning””. I gave him my cell number and asked him to call me after he speaks to accounting. Peter didn’t call so I reached out to customer service for Expedia and was on a chat with them for an hour before this could get fixed. I got no “sorry” or anything from the property. You would think they would at least have comped a night but no. If you stay here be prepared for less than stellar customer service and most of all…..CHECK what they are actually charging you!!

A lot of things in the hotel were out of date and dirty. Enjoyed our stay just some things could have been better. Also got charged $100 upon arrival, 25 were for parking and others they were not clear about. Wasn’t informed about the parking fee but should have expected that in charlotte. Wasn’t the worse experience but not the best
