Upon check-in, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. My suite was beautiful and clean. All updated appliances, carpet could use some updating but overall, it was everything you want in an extended stay. Perfectly priced for my stay, and I definitely recommend! Great job Waterwalk!

Rather disappointing experience WaterWalk properties are usually very good. This one however, PARKING IS NON EXISTENT DOORS PROPPED OPEN FOR ACCESS PEOPLE OUT ROAMING THE PROPERTY AT ALL HOURS LOUD VOCAL DISAGREEMENTS IN PUBLIC AREAS SUSPECTED ILLICT ACTIVITY IN PLAIN SIGHT I would not recommend this property to anyone traveling with kids or, the inability to defend oneself. The room was ok, IF you stayed inside. It was clean and, the A/C worked. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. Proceeded with caution

I am not the type of person to leave bad reviews but this one needed to be done. It was a terrible and frightening experience to find visible mold in the room where I was staying. Not only was I able to see this mold but smell it to the point where I began feeling sick. The staff offered me a room change but I couldn’t shake the feeling that mold was present even though I couldn’t see it. Least to say I was disgusted and disappointed that I had to experience this. I hope the next visitor will read this before making a decision to stay here. More importantly I hope the staff, managers, and owners know that this is UNACCEPTABLE and could be DETRIMENTAL to the health of visitors! This type of uncleanliness especially mold has no place in the hotel business.

It’s affordable and very flexible with check-in and check out times (for a small fee). It’s a 15 minute drive to downtown Charlotte. Pet friendly. Outside of the property is nice and it’s in a nice area but inside didn’t feel as clean or presentable in places. Room was decent but didn’t have that deep clean feel and the hall smelled like marijuana. The front desk staff were amazing and made checking in or making requests easy.

It’s a place to crash.
This extended stay lacks any kind of warmth or comfort that is necessary for a good overnight on the road. It’s old and doesn’t offer any real amenities that I saw, besides having a gym on the premises. Even though I didn’t check in until 12:30 am, the front-desk person said it would not be possible to delay my checkout by one hour. She could’ve helped me out there. There was a ceiling in disrepair outside my room -it had a leak onto the floor. Would not recommend unless you’re in need of an extended stay and you’re on a tight budget.
